Teen In Detention For Not Visiting Dad

A Michigan teen has been sentenced to four days in juvenile detention for refusing to visit his father.

Children are human beings not property. They are given no rights in court and that is wrong. Does this father think his son is going to want to see him after he sits in detention for 4 days. This kid will have no respect for his so called father after this. I am sorry for what this 14 year old boy has had to endure.

14 years old and throwing him in detention because he doesnt want to see his dad. He is 14 let him decide for himself.
I used to live in New Baltimore I know why this kid dont want to go to his dads, there is nothing in NB to do at all.
As far as the judge and his errored sentancing - I think he should be dis-barred for life for abuse of his authority
