Branstad and Culver both suck.

But I'll never vote for a Democrat ever again.

Help our schools keep the desperate funding that they need and that Branstad has vowed to take away to give more tax breaks to corporations. VOTE CULVER

I actually like Terry Branstad personally, and I was proud of Iowa Republicans for nominating him, instead of one of the others. I am issue-oriented, and agree more with Culver on some key issues. I do not think either one is really excellent, or really bad. I am glad that Iowa politics mostly is not as polarized or mean as in other states. I am proud that our Attorney General, Tom Miller, is leading all the AG's in the country, to review the foreclosure procedures, some of which may be breaking state laws, by not making sure that the documentation is correct. I was proud to see him featured on national news. I care more about reelecting him than about reelecting Culver.

Culver is so clueless he makes Vilsack look smart. The sad part is that they both are brighter than Tupperware Terry.

Enough of the "cute' remarks!! Give us factual information in your defense or offense - maybe you don't like Culver just because you think he is too heavy or because he is a former teacher - well, I don't like Branstad because he looks like a reincarnation of Hitler. Neither one of these statements is a reason to vote them in or out, so please stick to the facts. And back your statements up with proof, please. I am still undecided.

The Big Lug is a Democrat. That means he supports abortion which is murder of an unborn baby, no matter what the circumstances of the baby's creation.

Culver has done a good job considering the economic climate created by the 8-year Bush administration

branstads record, of lies and smoking the books, are bad enough but when i compare his accomplishments over his terms, verse, culver after one term, shows that he is capible of moving iowa in front of the rest of the states in just about ever phase of government. check the real numbers the is no comparisome. i was an independent untill the consvative party sent their whinner out to claim he was independent leader, i now am a no party voter, i vote on the documented fact and am afraid where my county will end up if we elect any rep-cons-tea-indep in this criticle nov 2 election.

Iowa is doing so much better than the rest of the country during this economy and I believe it is because of the leadership of Chet Culver and Patty Judge. This week Iowa was selected as the 3rd best run state in the country. That is leadership.

I'm at the point of indecision. I don't believe that Braindead(Branstad) or Culver are the people to be running our state. Branstad has a history of taxing businesses and Culver does too. I will probably hold my nose and vote for braindead. I'm all for term limits for all politicians----ONE IN OFFICE AND ONE IN JAIL.

I'm voting conservative. Brandstad is not conservative enought but I had to pick the lesser of two evils.
