Nevada is struggling again. Haven't had a good season for 20 years. There's some fun high school football talk over at www.HeyIowa.com

I beg to differ there ohenry, they had a good season 15 years ago were they were ranked 3rd in the state in their first year of district football and finished 7-2 get your facts straight!

Your from New York. I'm from Nevada, IA. I played on the 1987 when I our record was much better than 7-2.

9-1 is a good season. 7-2 is mediocre.

Proof positive is on www.HeyNevada.com

I played on the 97 Nevada fball squad that was undefeated until we lost to Ballard in the first round. You're all a bunch of idiots.

Tons of opinion about this 'incident' over on HeyNevada.com

They ran the family of the 'hazers' out of town!

The football teams numbers drop dramatically in high school because most don't want to be on a losing team. When I was in school they did well in middle school and lost almost every game in high school. I have a feeling that if they did drug testing on the Nevada team they would have a better record. A certain town cop's son was dealing prescription pain killers to fellow teamates when I was there. And yes I saw some take them before the games...duh of course it slows you down and lowers your response time.
