Local agencies band together to fight state's dysfunctional government

Mayors, school board members, and county supervisors came together here to discuss fiscal reform in Sacramento even as lawmakers were debating how much money to take to keep state government afloat.

If our elected officials manage there bugets like they manage California's they would be bankrupt by now. You can not keep taxing the working to death, while trying to educate, provide medical, and other numerous assistants to so many. The list of workers is growing smaller ( losing jobs and moving out of state) while the list of people needing some kind of assistant is growing . If you think things are bad, just wait, it is going to get worst.
