As a Greencastle-Antrim High School alumnus, I would like to extend congratulations to the 2009 Pennsylvania state softball champions! Thanks for putting Greencastle on the map once again.

Joe, you're expecting too much from the Pubic Opiner.
Research? Fact checking? Proof-reading? All passe. Costs too much. The parent company of the paper puts profit way, way ahead of journalism.

Those must have been exciting times for the high school runners! What an amazing record in a cluster of years. Strength in sports seems to cycle. Boys basketball had its run. Baseball did too. Let's hope the girls can continue to do well and other sports achieve new records too.
