All the left wing rags are fading. If you want to make it today you have to start to tell the truth and report in truthful ways. The folks just don't buy the bias anymore.

Still more disingenuous bull, old man. As the article clearly states, the Trib topped the P-G only in Saturday circulation and though it is beginning to pull even with Monday-through-Friday editions, it ain't there yet.

Trib circulation continues to follow the national trend of declining numbers. In 2007, the Trib reported significant circulation gains only because of combined numbers of it's seven papers. A year earlier, the company saw a loss in circulation numbers at various papers. In 2005, a report by the Audit Bureau of Circulations determined that the Post-Gazette had lost 5,000 subscribers on its Monday-to-Friday deliveries,[1] while the Greensburg Tribune-Review and Pittsburgh Tribune-Review lost 8,000 subscribers Monday to Friday, with deeper losses on Sundays.

Let's follow the broader trends, old man.

While your "statistics" are impressive, they still don't tell the reason "Why". The PG has a definite left slant, at least while the current bunch are in office.
The demographics of the city, however, seem to indicate that the current residents, products of the Pittsburgh schools, can't read anyhow. So, in the long run, it just doesn't matter . The "broader trends" will be second grade picture books if any one actually cares.

I think Krack-hole works for the P.G. and his "service" was as a butt-wipe diplocrat.

The point YOU made, old man, was that only the "left wing" papers were fading, because the "folks weren't buying the bias." The statistics clearly demonstrate that your assertion simply is not true. But, of course, you obviously realize that, because "it just doesn't matter," and growning illiteracy was supposedly your real point. Let's be honest about it, eh, old man?

Actually, it's quite obvious from your posts that you do very little thinking, little boy, and so must resort to childish name calling as the only response you can muster. That's pitiful, bub.

The Trib is light years better then the Post...

I signed up for a new subscription at Sam's Club last week, I got an excellent deal for $50, plus $40 off on my Sam's business membership and two $10 Wal-Mart gift cards....

The Post is good for wiping your dogs rear end but that's about it....

It's the left wing rags that are having the most trouble. The conservative papers are in better shape as their readers are consistent in their beliefs. The lefties are beginning to see that their concepts are unsustainable and impossible to pay for. They are beginning to see themselves as "independent" rather than admit that their guys are wrong.

C'mon guys, Krack thinks these things out and debates on a fairly intelligent level. Very little name calling, good stats and honest opinions. He'll switch over to the "right" side as he ages. His biggest problem is that he can't get over the fact that this economy is now Obama's and that Bush has been gone for a year now.

There is no doubt that the Post leans towards the left, but the Trib is full bore to the Right. Currently, the Post has better sports writers and columnists. The owner of the Trib thinks those that buy his paper are schmucks, and he couldn't care less what you think.

If you had $500 million to buy up all the little suburban papers, add them to your circulation numbers, then give away subscriptions, you'd probably be able to take on the P-G as well. Scaife bought up everythig from the North Hills News Record, McKeesport Daily News, the 17 papers of the Gateway Publications, the Valley News Dispatch, the Connellsville paper, and a few others. Add all that together and you're talking more numbers. And the Trib isn't all that neocon in some things. They did, after all, come out in favor of same sex marriage in their editorials.

Men marrying boys is Krack-hole's ideal. Not mine.
