My thoughts and prayers are with Officer Baribault and his family. Even though I don't know him, I do think of him often and I am glad Newsday is keeping us updated on his recovery. I would like his family to know that we as a community do care.

My prayers to PO.Baribault, and his family. Laying in an intensive care unit is not where this man should be on fathers day. I hope the two pers that are the cause of all this pain and suffering recieve every last day the state can sentence them to.

I don't think a 6 year old should
see his dad with tubes in his nose
and other medical equipment. The
children of our soldiers have not
seen their dads in months. Hopefully, the police officer will make a full recovery, but if he
doesn't, this is the last image this
little boy will remember.
