I am outraged! I will be certain to notify all family and friends NOT to purchase vehicles from Hustedt and ask them to do the same and so on and so on...
As a School Administrator and Special Educator with over 33 years experience working with individuals with
Autism Spectrum Disorder, I am a strong advocate for providing opportunities for growth and independence for all persons with disabilities! This article speaks to the injustice this population experiences all days on all levels! It is time that we as a society embrace all people with the respect and dignity they have earned.

a very valuable article for parents/ family members of an adult with pdd / autistic - spectrum syndrome diagnosis. suggestions: the experts in the field of working with those afflicted, need to come up with PRACTICAL WAYS/ GUIDELINES FOR EFFECTIVELY DEALING WITH ( IMPROVING) SIMPLE REASONING SKILLS OF THEIR LOVEONES.

youngsters diagnosed with autistic- spectrum disorder need to be instructed, from as early as educably feasable, with remedial work aimed at improving their reasoning skills. that remedial work needs to be put together by experts in the fields of dev. psych.,language pathologists, special educators of such population, experts in the field of reasoning / comprehension, and parents of similarly afflicted individuals.teaching tools such as : games, make - believe/ pretending,self- teaching ( programmed text), a variety of hands-on tech tools as well as the re- assuring presence of an understanding adult/ guide - are just some of the measures which need to be introduced into the lives of these afflicted youngsters as early as possible IF - A BIG IF - any progress could REALISTICALLY be expected when those youngsters continue to reach adulthood & remain a burden on their families( much strained by then !), & society.

I thought there was a law that gives people 3 days to return a purchase.
There is, but it is 3 days from the day you sign the contract. Often times, the dealership conveniently takes 4 days to "prep" the car, therefore when the car is due to be picked up, the deal cannot be reversed.

There is no 3 day "cooling off" period when you go to the dealer and buy a car.

The only time you have 72 hours is when the transaction takes place in your home. Aluminum siding, insurance, pest control, etc.
