Do you ever think that maybe there is more to the story?????????? I personally had my child's name left off one year , it was an accident not deleted...There is so much more to this story and it does not bear discussion on the net........enough said. The work of the organization speaks for itself......

To POMC saupporter

There probably is more to the story, but the
real story is that the C DeFilippo's comments were geared to POMC not the group that the story was written about...

I think its been more like 30 years since Gen was murdered. I think of her often to this day she was a wonderful person. I live in Florida now, I still remember that time it was a horrible time for her family.
She would have grown up to be a wonderful person.

Tricia,

It's nice your kids found my message. They would have been very lucky to have an Aunt like her. I remember we were very close when we were 12-13. We were in the same 6th grade class and hung out all the time. When we got to Junior High we stil were freinds and hungout occasionally but we just started hanging out with different people. You know how it goes. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and was always laughing and having a good time. I remember such stupid things we did as kids having fake weddings, paint expolsions, listen to oldies music it, but then it was brand new. Anyway I heard you were doing well through the years. My sister Kathy was married too Joey Cope for a while so she kinda kept me in the loop. I don't think anyone who knew her would ever forget her she was just that great!
Love Vicky

I went to school with Genevieve's sister Nancy Licari; it was the 1978-79 school year, and I lived in Holbrook, not far from Lake Ronkonkoma. I cannot believe that it is now 31 years since the murder. What ever happened to the killer, and is he now free? Does anyone have any details as to where Genevieve is buried? Someone should make a memorial to her on Find-a-Grave.

I remember Genevieve, she was a very beautiful girl and was taken away from us way too soon. We used to hang out after school.

His name is David Coleman. He is still in prision. he got sentenced with 25 to life. Every 2 years since the 25th anniversary my family has to appeal his release. I am Cathy Licari's daughter and Gen is my aunt.
I did not know her but it makes me happy to know people still think about her.
