They even got people with beta male syndrome who bark wildly at others and insult people just to make themselves feel better. Quotes from bogus websites posing as authoratative masters on any and all topics are used often there as well.

No, Centextalk is nothing more than a gripe forum so that people fight about whatever stupid reason they can find. They want to be intellectual but are petty and argumentative instead.

The real truth about centextalk is that the forums admins are butthurt former posters of Killeen Daily Herald forums. They left because they felt that they were owed an apology over a crappy editorial job about some bum that actually scammed her way into recieving a free motel room. Wanna know what they did the majority of time spent at the KDH Forums? Nothing but censor peoples postings they disagreed with majority of the time by crying to KDHForum admins every chance they had. Wanna know another sad thought? Some of these blowhards are actually working for KISD. Another portion are also city council members that are corrupt to the core. NEWS 25 KXXV just aired a story on this board at 6 pm questioning the city councils certain rights of being able to post on that forum. The feature even showed comments from one of the grand old former KDHForum crybabies turned Head Honcho of centextalk. I was actually suprised that one of these goobers from the forums actually had the balls to show their face on a tv cam.(Being they don't really have balls for much of anything else.)

Wow, Trollstar, these Centextalk hypocrites DO come out in force when they are confronted. I bet they'd get all paranoid if they found out that the KISD admins are actively seeking the IDs of the posters there to fire them for presenting a negative image of KISD personnel. Of course the firings will be based more on other created contrite issues like poor job performance or other issues.

I ask that you keep it up because you are obviously striking a nerve with these juvenile people who can dish it out but can't take it.

I heard the real reason they left was because one of the admins at KDH was fired for not allowing moderate or liberal views on the KDH forum, banning people for arguing with the other posters who were clearly Republicans and that one of the former members turned KDH over to the ACLU.

It seems the only people on this centextalk forum are council members looking to get their ego stroked more than it is when they are on camera, abusing cops who like to vent on citizens and stomp out anyone who would prevent them from wasting tax dollars on technology so they can play Deerhunter while on the job, and disgruntled teachers who probably do more to retard our kids than teach them anything.

Of course one of them is probably going to come back here and blast my post and do so on the guise of freedom of speech instead of retaliating hate showing their hypocritical true colors.

I have read and posted a few times on the Centex Forum. It seems to me to be a small bunch of loud mouth people who want to do nothing but bash the city of Killeen. They cannot seem to find anything good in Killeen. The FBC issue has totally gotten out of control on that forum. It is a shame that no one feels like posting positive remarks....they seem to be shot down anyway. As for politics, I am aware this is a very conservative area, but these folks seems to represnt the ultra right force. I dont care what your politics are, or who is in the White House, I feel some respect should be shown to the President. This doesnt seem to happen on Centex Forum.

Killeenguy, that seemed like a very honest reporting on that forum. Of course, most of the time lots of people go to forums to vent about problems so it can feel negative.

When a forum fails is when it only let SOME members have the freedom to voice their outrage at things. Not letting the middle and left have a say just seems wrong.

I had no idea there was a thread about the Centex Forum on this forum.

I left that forum just a few days ago when it became evident that upsetting certain sensitive souls with unauthorized opinions was an offense warranting moderation. To hell with that.

There's no point in posting to a forum that just sends the posts to the memory hole. There's also no point in getting upset about it, especially in today's site-rich internet environment.

Dagobert is not the only poster who has left that site. They are leaving in droves. The site has become a cesspool of favoritism of certain posters' views; a cracking down on free speech if it doesn't suit the whims of the 2 clowns running it; a backing and defending board of KISD administrators and Board; and last but not least, an ego trip by one of the so called administrators, who boasts of being so great a teacher, with profane language, and other non-positive gripes about teaching, all the while trying to "suck up" to everything the Board or Headshed" does.

Folks, would you want some of these clowns to be in the classroom, teaching your child? It is now hard to ascertain who the supporters of the Board and Administrators of KISD and the critics are. They have become one and the same. Anyone wishing to run for City Council, School Board, or Dog Catcher, should run, not walk away from these clowns.
It must be interesting to see their little "get-to-gathers" with their TV star wanna be, as the leader. God help the kids. The stink permeates from Lampasas to Cove to Belton to Salado and all parts, inbetween.
