I have seen thses kinds of people befor, yes it is Nice to know why you were at almost a stand still , But It is amazing that Turkey necking is also a sure fire way to cause an accident, it is almost as Bad as the idiots that text and drive at the same time.

Remeber this when you maybe the Accident victom, Do you want people to stop and stare at you in your time of need, if your not stopping to help you need to pull your head out and face forward and keep the flow of traffic moving.

I live in DeSoto County and it is embarrassing to me to read these messages---do these people not proof read or can they just not spell?

Just as bad as the rubber neckers are those who only know one way to their destination and can't think of an alternate route around the scene.
I've been on several wreck calls as a volunteer firefighter and too many people fixate on the pretty lights and what's happening to remember that they are operating a 2 ton vehicle that can injure the friendly guy waving a flashlight as he directs traffic away from the hot zone.

Don't be too embarrased, but proofread is one word.

Try spellcheck

People act like they have never seen a wreck before! I was in the southbound lane yesterday, and it took forever! Rubberneckers suck!!!

My mom & I were on out way 2 Baptist Desoto Hospital cause Im 31 weeks pregnant & I was having alot of pains, and there was cars stopped & driving real slow. I didnt know what was going on. Then we got to where we could see what happened and I was praying whoever was in that truck was ok. I thought about that the whole time I was at the ER.

Ms. should train their offials better because if it were a haz-mat load there would have been placards on the trailor. Also motor oil in bulk is not considred hazderous look at the B.O.L.

Glad he's okay. The tanker looked in horible condition. I couldn't imagine the driver being alert when flown to the MED. Oh the CA website comments are asking if the frequency of wrecks are driver error or road conditions. I would say the nesbit entrance ramp is far too close to the weigh station entrance ramp. Trucks need to be in that lane to get off at the station, and we need to merge with traffic. Not saying that's the CAUSE, but it's something that always makes me queasy! My dad is a trucker. Remember, just stay away from them. I want my daddy home safe, and it's shocking how many ppl will just cut them off.

Most drivers, but NOT all are professional.
We will never know if he was on some sort of pep-pills or not. I guess most of have noticed how they drive those trucks on the highways; they are NOT designed to be sport-vehicles.......
