Yeah, too much of anything that's flaunting perversion will eventually be its own undoing. People think you freaks in the parade are silly, funny, and ridiculous up to a point, then when the funny wears off and it starts getting annoying and too much, it'll start working against you. That's why you ONLY have them in select locations.
"That's why you ONLY have them in select locations"

The Gay community is everywhere. Well, perhaps not in Alabama but can you blame us?

The location of parades has actually grown.

Actually, shadow boxer, YOU are the one who needs to wake up. If you don't like Pride celebrations, then by all means, DON'T GO. Your bowling league wants you back, anyway.

>Your Queer diversions don't work. Keep flaunting your silly perversion. March around dancing like pansies and fairies with your rainbow flag a waving. Eventually it's going to work against you freaks. What percentage of you freaks actually walk and talk like the stereotype Queer?<

Been reading the jack chick "comics" again, I see, and watching the 1950's versions of "Health class movies", right?

I know several GLBT's who could very easily wipe the floor up with you. Get a life, shadow boxer. You need one.

You are a gifted writer with a flair for comedy ,lol.
Psst, between you and me, my parents HAD a 19 inch Zenith color console, in a big blond maple cabinet. It was rather pretty, in a furniture way. NO remote, so my dad made me get up and change the channels, so actually I was HIS remote.

We got it the day of Tiny Tim's wedding on the Johnny Carson Show. I still so recall that night! I thought I had died and gone to COLOR heaven.

If I am not mistaken, it was about $400 which in 1969 dollars was a FORTUNE. I just looked on the handy inflation calculator on Google. Four hundred 1969 dollars are worth $2740 today! Good God. No WONDER it took my parents so long to spring for that Zenith.

You can get a great 40 inch high-def flat screen at Costco for $400 today. For $2740 you could get, golly, a 70 inch screen and a theater sound system and two Lazy Boy recliners and still have money left over. Things may seem expensive, but in a way, they are MORE economical today than 40 years ago.

My father learned to speak English watching Johnny Carson , for years he would call my mom Ed McMahon and me Doc Severinson.

Good thing my mom had no idea who Ed was.

I recall the day the show went off the air , he cried and just never took it well.

I always thought Doc Severenson kind of hot, so that was a compliment!

I recall that final show also. It was highly moving and Johnny got choked up several times. He promised to NOT disappear, but I don't think he ever did another broadcast, maybe one visit to David Letterman, I think I recall, but that was it.

The best show, a day or so before his last, was when he had Bette Middler as his last guest. She sat on his desk and sang "You Made me Love You" which was absolutely charming, and funny, and tear jerking. That is one of THE highlights of television broadcasting, I think.
