Pioneer's band saturday night was trying to break a new noise record in the neighborhood. These people have no respect for the people trying to sleep and parkside apartments. I hope the new owner doesn't plan on blasting the neighborhood with loud music all summer.

There is nothing that can be done because they are operating within the city ordinance of bar hours and are allowed to have live entertainment. Ya, sucks for the old folks at the old Kewanee Hotel.

Pioneer was there long before Parkside, maybe someone should have given that some thought before they squandered tax payor money on the rehab.

You need to get your facts straight! The old hotel was there long before pioneer.
And the facts are when they tore down the builds on the corner. The pioneer was suppose to build on, and not a beer garden. But we know how rules in kewanee get bent for those on the other side of the fence.

you are right, the Old hotel, not parkside. there have also been taverns on that section of town for as long as the hotel. maybe people should think before they rent at parkside and maybe tey should also know that EMT strechers won't fit in the elevator.
