May the Lord comfort the family and friends of Tim Carr as well as his brother and sisters in the Nelsonville Fire Department. What happened to Tim whether by his own means or the means of another is still a tragedy to those who love him. Please keep your posts appropriate and not trample on the memory of someone who was a father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. People are going to speculate and spread gossip and rumors about Tim and why he did or if someone else did but the reality is that Tim is gone and people are mourning. So I see no need for people to come on here and play (internet tough guy) trying to be funny or cool. It only shows your lack of intelligence and immaturity. So please refrain from posting negative comments, if you want to post negative comments go find another outlet.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I do not know the reasons as to why he would take his own life ... it doesn't matter. Everyone is saying what a good man he was. He probably was ... but to me taking your own life without any thought to what it may do to (Parents, Spouses, children and friends) is the cowards way out. It is a shame that people feel that is the only way out of trouble.

It just seems you hear a lot more about people taking their own life.

Would you understand it better if he walked into a mall and started shooting other people. I think calling him a coward does nothing for the situation.

No I don't understand why people shoot other people period. All I stated is that they do not realize or even think about their mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephew, sons, daughters, etc. have to go through once they do kill themselves.
I looked the definition of Coward and there are many different definitions. Here is the one I was meaning by saying this word.
Maybe I should have used the correct word - Cowardly

cowardly - Showing cowardice. Lacking in courage, unacceptably fearful, usually meant with some implication of a lack of consideration for others; In the manner of a coward

I certainly did not mean to offend the family ... my heart goes out to them.

Outraged, rational thinking and killing yourself do not go hand in hand. If they were able to think about the ramifications to their family, then that person likely wouldn't end their life because they were thinking rationally. What's done it done, hopefully the family make their way through this terrible time.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Capricorn

You're swayed by your emotions today, making you susceptible to other people's machinations. Are you putty in the hands of your beloved? Are you willing to do whatever, just to keep the peace? Watch out for the influence of another's black mood, or you'll soon start to feel just as miserable. Fortunately this strange mood won't last long.
