Well - here goes - as I said on the Ellijay forum - I'm damned if I respond and damned if I don't respond so I guess I will just do what I feel I should. I am sorry that you have had bad visits to this restaurant. If I experienced that I guess I agree with you I would not come back. I have had several people that are from the area who continue to grace my restaurants and continue to compliment the food. I am happy to say that our business is still doing very well - we are continuously trying to improve. It is a never ending battle but we are still technically new - working out all the kinks - been open officially since August 2011. There are chain restaurants all over the United States that I can state the same thing about - all visits are never perfect with regard to service or food. The only difference is I can say that we will continue to keep trying to improve each and every day. I have staff turnover as every place does - that is caused by my staff not focusing on quality like I would like them to do. This happens - I will remove these people from my staff and continue to search for those focused on maintaining higher standards of quality in the actual cooking and delivery of food. I hate that anyone had a bad visit at either of my restaurants and (whether it is believed or not) I do try to improve each and every day and am not just "patting myself on the back". So - again thank you for all comments.

Ate at Julees saturday and will never eat there again. Food not very good and proces very high especially for the crap you get. Maybe she will keep moving and go to Jasper. Its comical how she will come on this forum and defend her food and service. My guess she better get ready to spend a lot of time in front of the computer instead of the stove trying to coverup the shortcomings.

Had the opportunity to dine at Julees' this week. Went for lunch, place was very busy and full.

Food was good, service was good, will return again.

It's more miles for us to travel, but worth it, in our opinion.

You sure you didn't park at Home Depot where the parking lot does have cars in it. Don't know where you came from to eat at Julees but have you had your taste buds checked lately?

Would like to thank Julie for now serving breakfast on Fri-Sat-Sun. My wife had a blueberry waffle with corned beefing hash, and I had eggs over medium well (some places can't even cook em medium well!) Bacon and homemade biscuits and hashbrowns. Everything was good as usual. We eat here at least once or twice a week.

Julie, if you ever open another restuarant this is my advice...have you ever watched Gordon Ramsey go into the failing restuarants and turn them around? The first thing he does is minimize the menu. Its too expensive to keep so much food on hand , it goes bad and has to be thrown out and also it is not very fresh. The first time I went into your restuarant in ellijay I said to the people I was with that she will never make it unless she sizes down her menu. 61 main in jasper is extremely successful. Their menu is very small with a few FRESH meals that they have perfected. Pick some meals that people like and you are good at, get fresh ingredients , and start from there. Alcohol will also HAVE to be sold to be successful, at least start with beer and wine.
