Ya know, this person is only classified as a sex offender because at the age of 18 he had sex with a 17 year old! Not all offenders are molesters and rapists, though most probably are. I do know this person myself..Just thought i'd let you know.

Desirae...though i am sure that this person told you that was the story...that is not what the article says. It says that they were 13 and 15, and he was 19. Though some may not see that as a big difference it really is in matter of maturity and legal standards. What can a 19 year old have in common with either of them. Not to mention they are not even able of giving consent at that age....they are babies trying to grow up to quickly.....those girls will have scars for life and their childhood taken away.....I guess the way i feel is that it is a great shame that people go to jail longer for the little things than they do for the big ones....Hopefully he straightened out while incarcerated or it will be the legal system at fault for the next victim.

Yeah he definately straigtened out and its not just what he told me, its what I know. He was formally charged at 19, thats why it says 19, and as far as the girls go, like you said they try to grow up too fast, in ways such as lying about their age as well. I'm not saying he wasn't wrong, i'm sure he knew they were under 18, but at the same time, they were willing, and he has done his time, and is an active member of society now. The girls admitted to giving consent, that why he wasn't charged with rape, because it wasn't. So eventhough he was still wrong then we also have to look at the parenting these girls were receiving. If their parents were really doing their job, these girls would've known better. I am happy to also be an advocate for rape victims as I was one myself, so when it comes down to things like this, I definately look into each case thoroughly. Not all girls that have sex at a young age are victims of anything more than being under age. The first girl it happened with he was only 17 when ut happened, the second he was 18 but he only got county time bcause she admitted to lying about her age. So, anyway, he did his time, his not proud of what happened, and he has become an important part of our society either way, he's a loving man to me and to his family.

this is the young man that some have been talking about since my release.before i goon, all i ask is to look at what i did in more then that what i was charged with, i di my time that i was sentened to(8 1/2 years). both of the vitims were seperate court transcripts will prove that i was 18 when i had sex with the 13 year old(she lied about her age and that was proven i court when she wrote my sentencing judge a letter, i recieved 5 years probation with 9 months jail time.)the 15 year old i was sentenced to prison, that case happened in june or july of 98.i was young and stupid to relize the stupidy that i caused my victims, there are not the only ones who were the victims.after going through treatment programs, i learned that everyone around me are victims too. my family are the ones that suffered i gotten older, i matured and excepted that i will not be forgiven for what i have done, but there are the ones that will get to know me and see that i made some terrible choces inmy past, i as say now that is my past and iwill have to move on ith my life. saying sorry doesnt xplain anything for my actions.i am fortonate that mygirlfriend, friends and family accept me as is and see that i am not the immature teenager,i am now 27, i have a college education and i have my first job.i am onest of my past and answer all questions that are directed towards me, negative or postive.all i can sat again is that give men like me a chance at society, this was my first and last time in prison and i do not want to see the prison walls again.i am moving on and becoming a tax paying citizen like the rest of the usa.thank you for all your comments, time, feedback, and understanding.

in response to jesse!

I give u kudos! It takes a strong person to admit what they did was wrong. I have 2 friends who got into trouble for the same thing you did and the same circumstances. They are not bad people just made some stupid mistakes. I would trust both of these people to take care of my little girl without hesitation. I'm glad that you stated not only are the girls involved victims but your family is too, because it took 2 to tango and the girls should be held just as responsible!! Keep up the great work, and hopefully everyone can find the forgivness for the things that have been done! I don't know you but I will keep you in my prayers and I wish you the best of luck in the future!

in response to Nicole.

I just wanted to say thank you for your understanding of my boyfriends situation. He has done alot of growing, and most of it done behind bars. He's not that stupid kid anymore, but a very loving, kind and gentlemanly type. I do come to his defense when needed, because I understand the circumstances under which this happened. I love him very much. Many people care about and love him dearly. He knows that he may continue to feel heat for this forever, and also that for me, being with him now means, I too will take heat, but like he said in his post, I am very understanding. Nobody is perfect. Again Nicole, I thank you. I would like to keep in touch with you if possible. I don't care who sees this. Please feel free to email me anytime @ [email protected] Thanx Nicole!

Even if the girl wasn't raped or sexually abused or even with an older guy, having sex at an age thats considered too young by ANYone ruins that girls chances at having a normal life.
Just like getting bad grades, or being obese, or having acne, having sex at a young age seriousely ruins a girls chances of being accepted among peers and will literally label her negatively for the rest her life. And you wonder why these girls keep falling into relationships with boys and having sex because it is the only situation where they feel that they have respect. I don't care what anyone says it is the parent's job to keep their daughters away from these situations! How can you expect a young girl to parent herself! No one can blame the child and if you do you clearly have had parents tought you DONT HAVE SEX, and grew up with a solid notion that you were still growing up! Most girls having sex young are doing so because the PARENTS put too much pressure on them to make there own decisions and to make the RIGHT decisions and this is making these girls think that they are mature enough to handle a relationship, when they clearly aren't. If you would regret having sex at that age, DONT LET THEM DATE AT THAT AGE! Show girls how to handle sexual attention, show them that they are responsible enough to get good grades and take care of themselves does not mean that they are mature enough to have a relationship and show them that no matter how broken a home you come from you can still respect yourself and become a good person.
Give your girls a chance at having a normal life.

So a little late on the comment, but I just found this article. I'm really sorry to say that all sex offenders are lumped in the same category. Yes, we need to be careful of some and NO not all offenders warrant fear. I am very sorry that most people are ignorant to that fact. To the offender...may you have an uneventful life devoid of harrasment. It will be difficult once you've been branded....regardless of circumstance.

this is for the people in brown, outagamie and fon du lac counties, the state is looking for rentals for sex offenders who have been granted supervosed release by the judges who sentenced them, now accepting them as renters in your communities is a very good idea because when you do thier rent is paid by the state so you get your money, they are very closely monitered and have alot of rules to abide by and even talking to a child saying hello can get them revoked, now if you dont accept them into your communities then the judge will just discharge them and then they are free to live wherever totally unsupervised, wouldnt you rather that they are being monitered very closely?

Seriously, go back to school, or do not post until you (at least) complete the 6th grade.
