Loud Harleys!!

What is it with this. If a kid plays his stereo too loud he gets a ticket. But these abnoxious hogs are everywhere. Its all about needing attention!!

You need to get the attention of these idiot drivers in this town. I know it sounds very cliché, but loud pipes do save lives.

While I do appeciate the beauty of the bike the sound is behind and most accidents are front or side impact.

Loud pipes makes up for having little dicks, plus that's the only way you can tell if they're running, that way when they die your buddy can't tell and leaves you.

The sound emits behind the rider, but overall the excess does spread through the entire environment. The OP suggested these pipes were for getting attention, and it's the same attention that help them be seen by motorists that would otherwise over look them.
