Any news about the area behind Philpott, particularly Lawrence Avenue? We are near Jackson, MS and wondered if we should come in for a day and begin clean up.

I just spoke with our Great Niece in Dallas. Their family lives on Gary and Nederland. She said they didn't have a lot of damage The kids and our niece left for Dallas. But Terry her husband satyed behind because he works with Fire Department in Nederland. Tammy has gone back to Nederland so she could go back to work at Lowels Building Center.
Everyone that Ike has came in your path we are praying for everyone.

My family is on Franklin in Nederland. They are safe but had some limbs down and a broken window. The land telephone lines are up but there is no cell service, water, electricity at this time. They have been asked to stay off the roads. They had a scary, sleepless night and should have evacuated.
Becky where on Franklin Did you live? I grew up on Franklin Aven and live in Aurora CO
