Jerry wants to spend 4 million dollars on a turning lane on college drive so his wife can have an easier turn into her house. Or whatever the reason, there is NO need for a turning lane on college drive. Just more fiscal irresponsibility by democrats...same shit from Washing and Frankfort that has gotten this country and state in bad shape. I've heard the radio adds and the only thing Jerry can do is try to call Jack a liar and say he's never been a miner. I've known Jack for roughly 25 years. We need somebody like him in office, that's not a "politician" and cares about the people of this state and the community, and knows that this community doesn't need things like a freaking 4 million dollar turning lane.

Jack is a hard-working man who understands the challenges faced by us "common" people. He works hard in the mines and will work hard for all of us in Frankfort!!

My vote is for Jack, I think he will work hard for our community! Contrary to what Jerry Rhoads says about Jack NOT being a coal miner, he is a hard working coal-miner. I heard the comment the other day about a politician, if I may borrow it, Jack is still working at both the mines & RJ Temper while running for Ky. State Senate but to give credit where credit is due, I guess Jerry Rhoads is still working too,....sueing people.

What political experience does Jack Whitfield have?.......none.....

he doesn't need experience. people bitch and bitch about getting the old out...the career politicians who are out for themselves and out of touch....but you complain about jack's experience? you can't have it both ways. you don't have to have experience as a politician to be voted in. we need someone in office that is a good man, cares about the community, a family man and NOT someone who has experience as a politician. i hope jack wins and i think he will. if you spend time talking to him, you would know that we need MANY more people like jack to step up and try to make a difference instead of most people who want to complain about everything and NEVER do anything about it.

Jerry Rhoads is by far the best candidate and is the best equipped to do the job. Whitfield's negative attacks demonstrate a quality that we don't need in Frankfort. We have enough division and backbiting without sending more.

Whitfields negative attacks? That's the funniest thing I've ever heard? Jerry's radio ads are just flat out lies and I know that for a fact. AND...we've got state workers here in Madisonville and all across the state that have to continue to take unpaid days off of work each month and your great candidate Jerry Rhodes wants to spend 4 MILLION dollars on a useless turning lane on College Drive? You are okay with that waste of money that could be used somewhere else? AND you can't dispute that in anyway. Everybody complains about the economy and the way things are and how can you back a candidate that wants to be irresponsible with that kind of money....i can't wait to hear how you explain that away.

Jerry has supported coal for years. From helping numerous miners, to fighting for coal jobs, Jerry has continued to be a huge supporter of coal. His father in law is a retired career miner with several decades in the mines and will verify it all.
