The donations are starting to add up, but there is still a lot of work to do to stop hunger in the Lehigh Valley.

I think it's wonderful that everyone is trying to pitch in and provide food for our local food banks. However, I find it hard to watch a young woman being interviewed at a food bank picking up food for her children with what looks like perfect manicured nails and wearing what looked like gold jewelry. Someone who needs to obtain food for their children should learn to cut back on needless expenses in these times. I can't afford to have my nails done. Please think of others in need.
