Janet Weir Creighton is not only a fool but an Alex Arshinkoff supporter. This is proof he is baggage beyond the borders of Summit County. If he thinks he is going to get Kevin Dewine in as state chair and start taking over the party state wide let this be as a warning to all who "worship" him that if he is found nearby, yee shall fall from your lofty post or position. Just keep on going by and act like you never seen or heard him that would be the best you can do for yourself and others.

With Stark County's economy in ruins with Hoover closure and Timken restructuring, why would you stay the course as Bush A$$ says with Republicans in charge?

Ralph Regula knew to retire before he lost in the 2008 election.

Ohio need change quick. Vote Democratic in 2008.

With all due respect I have heard her do the normal "Alex is great " routine. If you are interested in seeing that Fat Blowhard go join Kevin and his efforts. One other thing the reason Kevin and his camp is holding off in the meantime the name of who is running against him is he is trying to (1) Prolong the agony and (2) Giving him less time to beat up on that person.

History shows that Ohio Voters are idiots.

Elected Taft twice.....Elected Bush twice.

The state is going down the crapper. Please do vote democratic to turn things around. Another 4 years of Repukelican rule and you can all count on walking the unemployment line.

Though I'd rather see Creighton in there, I know for a fact she is in love with Alex and the Summit County Party. Her name was also floated for higher office in the "glory days" of Taft. Healy is riding on the coattails of a bad economy, he'll last one term once people find out he can't manage a budget and can't fix the crime problem. Maybe he'll be able to solve the pregnancy problem in Hoover High thought!

Pregnancy problem in high school? Dems are perfect for fixing that!! They'll provide sparkling in-school daycare dropoff for the babies, so the 13-yr-old mom can be on her way. Meanwhile, the concepts of "father" and "husband" are further destroyed by the Hollywood liberal do-gooder and homosexual marriage crowd.

Yes, the Dems are perfect for the issue of rising illegitimate births. They love it -- it makes them feel like Saviors.

Yea, it would be better for the GOP to start another war in Iran. The GOP Neo-Cons are looking for anything to take peoples' minds off the horrible last 7 years economy of the middle class, and 1 more to come. Can't you see the forest amongst the trees?

The Republicans should not over analize Creigton's defeat. The biggest turn off to the Canton voters was her constant chirping about George Bush who is a very unpopular President. She should have went about her business of Mayor and quit mugging for Bush. She also ran a darn dirty campaign against Healy. A totally classless woman. Her shrilling and foul language and her abuse of city workers did not sit well with Cantonians. Healy outclassed her. Bottom line. She just could not hang with a big dog.

The fastest and best cure I can think of for someone in poverty in Ohio is to get some skills and education, then move south.

That'll cure the problem. Fast.

If they find themselves a job in Georgia or Florida, it's only an hour flight to come home. Airtran flies brand new aircraft from Atlanta to Akron-Canton every day. Charlotte is so close that the flight attendants can't even get the drink cart put away before the pilot begins his descent!
