The Florida Department of Transportation is working on concluding a safety audit report of U.S. 98 in Santa Rosa County, focusing on pedestrian and bicyclist safety, traffic lights and lighting along the highway.

The best thing they could do is to make all turn lanes that go across the median in to actual turn lanes not just a lane across the median. How many times have people had to slam there brakes on to avoid a wreck, or a bad rear end crash.
