What you people don't understand is that Advanced doesn't even have an oppurtunity to "rip off techs." They have a contract with the fulfillment company, not with the technicians themselves. They don't pay technicians. They pay the fulfillment companies for the work orders they complete. It is up to that fulfillment company to pay the technicians that they personally have a contract with. Advanced has nothing to do with technicians not being paid. With the lack of professionalism and knowledge on your part, it's not surprising that you experienced some issues. You probably caused yourself to get "ripped off."

If a contractor rips you off take him to small claims court. Advanced communication hires fulfillment companies not individual contractors. Your beef is not with advanced communications its with the fulfillment company that did not pay you.

I worked for a good Advanced Comm fullfillment subcontractor and always got paid but as a company looking for contract work I would never work for Advanced Comm. The pay is waaaay below industry standard. They are in the stone ages when it comes to paperwork and tech management. You think with all the smart tech out there they would have an app like tech rabbit to manage their techs. Instead the have a underpaid staff of call center employees who you have to wait on hold for to tech in onsite and if you don't tech in you get backcharged. Etc Etc. They pay their fulfillment contactors garbage 68/15 which most good techs can more than that working for HSP or DNS contractors so the fulfillment contractors pay less 55/10 and techs still pay for supplies and Advanced Comm pays their fulfillment companies 5 weeks out which forces those companies to pay 6 weeks out and most reputable fulfillment companies will not work for those rates or wait that long to get paid so you get alot of dishonest contractors working for them who screw over the techs who work for them. Advanced Comm may not be directly at fault but they run there company like shit treat their fulfillment contractors like shit and expect them to somehow treat the techs any better. STAY AWAY from Advanced Comm contractors that you don't have friends working for that are getting paid on a regular basis. Like I said I always got paid but I saw a sinking ship and didn't stick around to get screwed and went back to DNS work.

So who is the fulfillment company? I did work for AAA Satellite and haven't been paid, bogus chargebacks plus charging me for a background check, the contract says Advanced Comm.

I worked as a tech with Direct Communication company(fulfillment with advanced communication) for three weeks only then quit. I never ever seen a worse company like this in my life. The owner name is Linux bad in every thing. WARNING... stay away from this company and this person.

To all my fellow technicians in the satellite field. There are companies out here telling you guys to take photos of your installations. Just want to let everyone know the law about this.
It is against the law to take photos on private property without WRITTEN CONSENT FROM THE PROPERTY OWNER. If you are taking photos on customer property without written consent….you are breaking the law. If the company you are employed by or contracted with are telling you to do this, they are telling you to break the law. They must provide you with a legal document to present to the customer to sign for either consent or not consent to photos being taken on their private property. DirecTV HSP, Direct Sat, AEI (Smart Circle, Cydcor) and Hughes Net are all telling their technicians to do this. Some are even telling you that if you don’t take photos, you will be charged back, not paid, or terminated. This is BRIBERY! They cannot legally do this. They are telling you to break the law or you will be terminated or not paid. Check with an attorney. Technicians need to pull together and start a class action lawsuit against these companies. It is breaking the law and violating consumers 4th amendment rights and privacy laws.

I said I was taking them to small claims court and not they're saying they are keeping my money. Stay away from any company getting jobs from AEI.
