Gun legislation proposal relaxes restrictions on pistols
JASPER, Ala. - The proposed gun bill which has been approved by the Alabama House would allow owner's to carry a loaded pistol in their car as long as they have a concealed carry permit owner's wouldn't even need a permit, if the gun was unloaded.

It has always been legal to carry a firearm in your vehicle, loaded or unloaded, as long as you have a concelaed carry permit. This is nothing new.
