Don't know why this despicable piece of s**t wasn't immediately removed from the auditorium. If he is not permanently banned from the VMA, MTV and all of its associated companies will lose my business. I have deleted all of his music and hope others will do the same. With any luck, his voice will crap out and he will go broke and end up on the street. The guy is lower than dirt!
Ummm WTH? Anyways, did she mean to hit him or what? They didn't even say if she was arrested or anything. Hopefully they give the whole 411 on this story and prayers go out to the victims family and may he rest in peace.

Well there has to be more to this story. Was she mad and hit him?

This is a shocking and unfortunate development to this story. How a few minutes of mental lapse will affect the two family lives forever. We all need to reserve our "negative comments and jokes." I don't know either party, but if they lived together as lovers or just friends, you can bet they didn't plan on ending things this way (under NO circumstance). My thoughts and prayers go out to both families.

He died on impact....Melissa didn't even see the accident.Motorcycles, drinking and speed do not equal anything safe. We do not blame Melissa she was only trying to save him from driving drunk and when she couldn't get him into the car she tired to follow him home to assure he arrived home safely. We will miss Joey and our heart go out to Melissa who had to witness this."

Dear Readers, CT Post, & Noisy people;
Granted when the CT Post writes a story you'd think its true, or that they were actually there. I'm disgusted by this article which is completely a false explanation of what happened. Shame on you CT Post! For having nothing better to report than a twisted version of someones tragedy! RIP Joey... and to both the Joey & Marissa's families I am so sorry you have to deal with this!

If this man was drunk, who knows what happened, only Marrisa knows. The bike might have accidentally stalled, she might have hit him accidentally. I honestly don't think she did it intentionally. If they had, had a fight and she wanted to kill him, all she had to do is let him go off on his own. He would of had an accident and killed himself if he had been drinking.
She was obviously concerned about him if she was following him in her car.

i know marissa and she loved joey we all have our ups and downs but to do something like this, nah i don't think so. but than again people do get mad and in a fit of rage don't think and are fully capable of that kind of thing. so no matter who you kno or who you don't know it is possible that she was trying to make sure he was safe or the other way around only her and him know that. but from experiance it is possible. god bless you all in this terrible tragedy and marissa and her girls stay strong the truth will come out and you guys will be ok.rip joey

The Nissan suffered front bumper damage, ACCORDING TO THE ACCIDENT REPORT.

The report posted by the ConnPost is accurate and factual with the info the State Police provides them. The mis-information is coming from the comments.

Sorry for your loss.
