I'm a big fan of Glenn Beck, but I will shop at Walmart. I buy my groceries from Brookshires anyway, but I'll go to Walmart when I need other things. Where else in Natchitoches is there to go? Also, I bought all my Glenn Beck books AT Walmart! They still sell them, so they have no problem with selling his books and taking a piece of the profit. Does Walmart really need to advertise anyway? Every year, MM names a "misinformer of the year" award. This has recently gone to Mark Halperin(ABC,TIME), Chris Matthews (MSNBC), and Sean Hannity (FoxNews)

Yes, I remember. Can you be more specific about the "lied" part? Again, this thing was reported with clips to substantiate it. Rush simply tried to take the Imus defense and say his words were taken "out of context", and that he was referring to one particular soldier who fabricated details about the nature of his service. Typical Rush crawfishing, the same reason his bloated ass was denied by ESPN. He said "soldiers" (plural), and "they" (plural).

I believe media should be held accountable in this country. Too many hide lies behind the First Amendment on both sides of the aisle.
Citizens also have a responsibility to ensure that you get real, factual information, not fear-mongering and sensationalism tailored for ratings, and turning suckers into folks who simply don't know any better.
If you're ultra-conservative, that's fine...good even.
