Provencal Land Must be Made of Gold

Has anyone tried to buy land in Provencal lately? I tried to not long ago and I was amazed at how hard it was to find land for sale in the area. I was able to find someone willing to loosen their grip on 10 acres of straight woods, but they wanted $75,000 and also wanted to retain the mineral rights. I'm not looking to buy a diamond mind all i'm interested in is the dirt. I know some people may be holding out because they think all the gas companies are going to make them instant millionaires leasing up all their mineral rights, but that ship has sailed. All I'm interested in is some dirt to put in my name that I don't have to take out a second morgage to get.

maybe the gas companies are not offering anything now but we all can have hope........i might not have land there but i just have to said i agree with them.....they do not make more land .....so what land i have i hold on too and i know if nothing else i can always toss up a teepee up if i have too.....and my children will always have a place if they need it.......the ship got close to me and i saw it sunk but now it looks like i will have an offer of a pipeline coming across my back side......God Bless
