MS National guardsman

United States

#1 Apr 4, 2011
He was not there because he came and spoke at our National Guardsmen's NCO convention as the key note speaker, where he delivered a moving speech. It just goes to show his support for our citizen soldiers and their families. He is the first MS national guardsman to serve in congress in my lifetime, if not of all time, and I'm 47! Just because he missed a ship christening doesn't mean that he doesn't care, he is a great guy, and a man of character. He came there to speak to us because he is one of us, and if anything we should commend him for traveling up to natchez from the gulf coast to come speak to us when he could have gone next door to pascagoula, he drove that long journey to be there for our/us men and women that protect my family and yours from enemies both foreign and domestic.

God Bless you Congressman Palazzo, and God Bless America.

I agree he is a character, a Barbour lap dog clown who allows his wife to run out his office staff in less than 6 months. He left his district and a major employer function at a location in which he has appointed responsibilities in congress to attend a function at the other end of the state to deliver a moving speech... WOW I want to go vote for him again, wait I never voted for him in the start....Put him out now and avoid the embarrassment later when his true colors become common knowledge....

My wife and I watched him speak on TV this past week and neither of us could understand WTF he was talking about. A great orator or spokesman he is not!

Lemme ask an honest question MS National Guardsman -- what the fuck do you mean 'enemies foreign and DOMESTIC?'

Yeah I know its in some oath somewhere but are you saying that you want to be a tool for some politician to suppress your fellow Americans? What do you mean domestic enemies? Who's a domestic enemy? And who's to say you can tell or which politician can say. If a Republican president told you to go round up Democrats, or vice versa, if Obama told you to go round up Republicans or whatever group - how can you tell?

Since when does the United States military that we ALL pay for act as a secret police for some politician?

I don't know the man personally. I imagine he's an ok guy like the rest of them but overall I get the impression he's no Gene Taylor. When those idiots up there in Forrest & Jones county threw him over the top last year over Gene I knew there was going to be trouble.

So far he hasn't stood up for us, the shipyard keeps losing jobs to other shipyards and he won't do enough to fight it. He's more worried about fighting 'The War on Terror' and about wasting our tax dollars on those people who hate our guts and don't appreciate what we're doing for them. If he fought and hustled half as hard to get jobs here like Sen. Stennis and Lott did back in the day Jackson County would be a job engine again.
