Glens Falls teacher accused of hitting student on buttocks

A Glens Falls High School teacher has been arrested for allegedly hitting a 17-year-old female student on the buttocks in class.

I'm COMPLETELY on side of teacher, and I do not even know him or the whole situation. Guarantee the girl either exaggerated and/or the parents are looking for easy money ;)

Children to not need to be hit to be taught. They're not stupid. You can explain to them why a behavior is in appropriate and they are capable of understanding.
Personally, I do not want my child to be an unquestioning and following sheeple. If she makes a few waves and challenges the people around her to give more than a few pat answers then that is fine with me.

Yes, you're right. Personally, I've seen a lot of vindictive, manipulative behavior by women (young adults too). I'm not saying that males aren't capable of these behaviors. I'm just curious to hear the teacher's side. There's two sides to every story.
