Of course I have. I just take the parkways as much as possible, and decelerate way ahead of time to avoid sliding through an intersection in those situations.

A red light is a red light . Does anyone of you that claim its a money grad relise its for your own saftey ? CMON , bitch about it . you deserve a ticket . when you on purposely run a red light . JUST what does a red light mean ? I got news for ya ,Im 77 & driving since 18 & still never on purpose run a red light & recieved a ticket NOW go figure that. YES Ive been in a few accidents because of IDIOTS running red lights & stop lights. Its runners that cause high insurance .

Sorry, but I'm sure you've all ran red lights before, you just didn't think about it....like when the roads are icy and the light isn't timed to accomodate the slippery roads. You're either NOT thinking about it, or you're full of it.

Besides, you're all missing the point. The government often makes new laws in the interest of 'safety', and what you're not seeing is that it's and easy excuse to bilk you out of your money. For the record, I'm 34 and only had 1 ticket (when I was like 18), and 1 accident that wasn't considered my fault (with a deer). You just need to understand that safety makes and easy excuse to steal your money. the government does it all the time. one day, they'll be red light cams at every light, and you'll be here on one of these forums bitching about it!

Well, if that is the case how about we let the Government put a device in your car to monitor ANYTIME you speed regardless of the reason. You will get automatic tickets EVERY time because I'm sure you never have sped in your life either.

Here I am to chime in...:) Anyone who supports or Allows these Speed or Red Light cameras is a Nazi Supporter and a fascist! Read the article below and see how poeple are fighting back against Fascisim in America.. they are smashing the cameras, and one guy even got shot.. there is a difference between 'outright blowing a red light', making it through on the yellow, getting trapped, icy roads.. etc..-- I wish I had millions of dollars to hire people to spy on all of these hypocritical Nazi's.. Then we could video tape them doing something illegal... maybe not driving infractions... but something.. even on accident..

Anyone who supports a system like that is a Fascist Nazi.. and you only pave the way for 10-20 years down the road of having a camera right outside your house!(eventually 'IN').. They already want to know what books you buy, websites you go to... remember when you were in elementary school and you had to do everything they told you to do, and couldn't talk back or you'd be punished? Well, that's where we are headed... BTW, only people who cant drive or fear driving want those cameras...

I drove to work this morning a different way because I had to run an errand. I was driving down the main road within a school zone so I was not driving fast at all. Im only saying this because people here were saying well you deserve a ticket if you were speeding and blowing lights, blaa blaa blaa.

As I am approaching a large intersection I noticed that not too many people were able to go through the green light. I thought it was odd because it was early and not a lot of traffic. I didnt think much of it until I got up to the light and was waiting for it to turn green. Finally, the light turned green, I think I was fourth in line, the light changed from green to yellow in a matter of a second and by then I was already in over the line and in the intersection.

I continue down the road, pissedoff mind you, and the next intersection has these massive cameras and then the same thing again - very fast yellow. I stopped and did not go through. With my luck I would get two tickets in a matter of minutes. Again, not sure if the cameras are active. I did not see a sign 'photo enforced' but will check again. I saw a list of 50 and these were not on it. I did see one in my neighborhood that is active. That intersection that its at they will catch so many people because people get stuck in the intersection from congestion.

These cameras are going to cause more accidents than anything. Its not going to be from people speeding through, its going to be from people slamming on their brakes.

BTW - how many of these cameras are they going to keep putting up?
