Vernon County Prosecutor violating Victims of Crime Bill of Rights

The prosecutor failed to notify us of court dates, plea bargains and the sentencing date. This is a direct violation of the Missouri Victims of Crime Bill of Rights. I reported him to the proper authorities and they contacted him. He assured them it was an isolated incident. I have heard from others he and the assistant prosecutor have done the same with their cases. I would like to hear from those people so I can prove that this is common practice for his office. I HAD A CASE WHERE MY STOLEN LAWN MOWER WAS RECOVERED IN A DRUG BUST I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED, OF ANY HEARINGS. PLEA BARGAINS, OR COURT DATES, IN ANOTYHER CASE I WAS NOT NOTIFIED IN A CHANGE IN COURT DATE.

I know someone who worked for the guy, and she said he cut corners allllll the time. You might try talking to current and former staff.

this kind of stuff is typical of the nevada/vernon county courts and law enforcement. laziness, corruption, serving their own self interests and that of their friends....soooo glad i moved away.
