our neighbor emailed us, bal harbour drive seemed to have been somewhat
lucky as to flooding, lakeside not to good, marina is gone
also use global earth and overlay 3 and 4 m sea rise to see if your home could be safe

Does anyone know about houses on Upper Bay. I know there has to be quite a few that have flooded, but we are one of the few houses that are higher up. We are across the street from the water 3 houses down from Prince Williams. It has never flooded, but not too sure it didn't this time.

use google earth and overlay a 5 meter water rise and you will be close to
seeing how your property faired as the surge was about 10 to 12 ft plus wave
action
There are several photos on the net of a 40+ yacht in the swimming pool parking lot.and sandy cove dr., had about 5.5 ft of water

I live on Balharbour Dr.(18022) Got in yesterday my unit is high and dry . But the club house office had a lot of damage .The marina is a total loss most boats left there were damaged ( I moved my boat before Ike its fine like most that were moved. As far as the other units it looks like there is water damage to some garages . Some boats in the channels on boat lifts came off and were damaged , but all and all most of the town houses looked to be in good shape. Nassau Bay said Centerpoint says we may have power back in four days .

Has anyone been back in yet to assess the damage? Live at Upper Bay and Prince William. Don't think got any flooding but was wondering about tree damage? How bad does it look as far as the houses go on Upper Bay.
