Child rapist attacked by prison guard

A Tennessee prison guard is charged with attacking a convicted child rapist behind the walls in Nashville.

Ouch... the poor child raper has bruises.

I would like to know what prompted the guard to attack him. I hope it was somewhat justified so he doesn't lose his job or get into trouble.

He needs to learn how to smack the child rapers around without leaving bruises!!

I don't agree with him attacking the rapist because his job is to guard no to pass judgement.....he should leave the attacks to the fellow INMATES.....they will probably do a better job....

I agree with you, the guard shouldn't have attacked the rapist. Prisons, are full of child rapists, what makes this one so different? Unless, this criminal really ticked of the guard, who knows?

Also, the guards are outnumbered by the prisoners. This guard needs to think about his co-workers safety. Some prisoners may want to retaliate. But, now that I think about it; most inmates "hate" child rapists.

P.S. As much as I would "love" to see all child rapists beat to a pulp; in reality that simply cannot happen...

I think the guy deserves his punishment from the system and from other inmates...think about what he did to a poor innocent child. They are scarred for life. He needed to make it look like a fall better.

Prison should be just that....."PRISON". I'm tired of these prisoners living better than the rest of us while our tax dollars pay for it!

He should be thankful it was the guard and not one of the other inmates attacking him. And if it was another inmate we'd never hear the first thing about it.

This ain't news, people. They're prisoners. They gave up their rights when they committed their crimes.

all I can say is you get out of life what you give! I think about the parents of this boy and what they must have felt when they realized this had happened to their child and I am sure they are grateful for this gaurd!!! I would imagine this gaurd is a parent and was so disgusted by this man that he could not control himself. I have a daughter and if I was in a room alone w/a child molester I can honestly say that I might lose all self control.

Child rapists need to spend the rest of their lives in prison, and whatever happens to them while there is alright with me. They don't deserve to live.

I think everyone agrees that a child rapist is worst kind of scum. But, no matter why the guard beat the inmate, he just gave the scum a ticket to sue. It will cost the guard, it will cost taxpayers, and it was against the law. That doesn't have anything to do with what the inmate did to be incarcerated. I think it's abhorrent the amount of money we have to spend on incarcerated scum like this, but now, imagine the lawyers that are lining up for the paycheck to carry this low life's case.

I don't think anyone can say throw the gaurd in jail. people don't know the whole story and soon the truth will come out. until you know what happened don't voice your opion until you know what you are talking about.

I think child rapists, and even rapists of adults, should be stapled to a tree and shot in the head. Put a sign on the body telling passers by what he did.
