I am full of all the new laws that make good people pay for the mistakes of other people. The last law that should be created is 'If the kids do the crime then parents should do the time'. Sign a paper when they are born that they will do their kids time, otherwise abort. This would fix all of the problems.

. You are a fu@king idiot. I'm sorry but why should a hard working man or women do time for their kids if they do something wrong that they have no control over while they are not in their presence. The age of accoutability is 12 and I don't care what anyone says you know right from wrong by that age and by the time someone is 16 they are allowed to adult things like drive then if they do adult crimes then they should be on trial as an adult if the government would stay out of everybodies business and quit interfering when parents try to disapline their children when they do wrong then we wouldn't have kids acting like selfish brats. And when they do break the law they need to quit slapping them on the hand and saying now don't do that again.

Let the doer of the crime do the time. And the "time" is of no real help to the victim of the "crime" anyway. In most cases crime victims end up paying to encarcerate the guilty party. A lot of good that does. I think we need to focus on building our kids up to have productive lives. A troubled child does way more bad than a kid who knows who he is and where he is going. Crime prevention is best achieved by preventing the desire to do crime. The desire to do crime is largely fueled by misguidance & misdirection. If these children followed better paths, then they would end up in better destinations. Parents are to blame for their childs direction, but not in the least bit criminally responsible for their actions.
