Don't know a damn thing about genetics, do you? Do you even know the four sugars that make up genetic code? No?
Then what research have YOU done to disqualify evolution? None? That's what I thought.
You wouldn't trust a person with no medical training to advise you on a complex medical issue, why should we take a person who has no education in the field at his word on evolution?
Educate yourself, you'll find just how wrong you are. Evolution has and is being observed. For instance: the 10 wall lizards that were released on an island in Croatia in 1971. They originally ate insects, but since there's so few insects on the island, they became plant eaters and their entire gut system has changed...in the span of 40 years!
Deny all you want, doesn't change the facts of the matter.
What a ridiculous and weak argument.

You are so completely wrong. It may be diminishing somewhat in Europe, but that is more of a Catholic issue over there, as so much of Europe is Catholic.

In the 3rd world, it is exploding. And its mostly Protestant evangelism that is seeing the explosive growth.

Atheist and anti-Christians have been saying that Christianity is dying even since the Romans were feeding them to lions. And yet Christianity grew even as Rome died.

And then when the pagan barbarians overrun Europe in the Dark Ages, the skeptics said Christianity was dying. But it didnt, Instead it converted the barbarians and got bigger than ever.

And then it went world wide, and now is sweeping through the 3rd world like tongues of flame.

So, once more we see the smug atheist who pronounce the death of Christianity are simply 180 degrees wrong, as per usual.

And if we look to some recent poll data, we see the rate of atheism to be about 5% in America (even if we look to sources that are historically anti-Christian).

5%! Wow.

And yet to hear you tell it, religion is dying?

I think you missed the point, Billyboy. I said that RELIGION is dying. I couldn't care less which archaic magical belief system is ahead and which is falling behind. How many of those turd-worlders start out as atheists before they become Protestant-Kool-Aid drinkers? I'd wager very few. A person who has the necessary critical thinking skills to reject magic and superstition is not going to be persuaded by a different brand of magic and superstition.

You've figured out my plan. I'm going to live my life the way I want. I'm not going to worry about magic and superstition. I'm not going to give away 10% of my money to a con artist. I'm not going to memorize stupid, pointless bible verses and try to figure out how the end of the world will go down. I'm going to do whatever I want whenever I want to the extent that I can get away with it, and feel no guilt whatsoever.

It's been so long since I felt guilty about anything that I can't really remember what it feels like. You right-wingers like to talk about freedom, but you don't even know what freedom is until you've dumped religion. I can literally do anything I want. Period.

And right before I die, I just have to mumble "Oh Jebus, me soooo sorry", and I'll get into heaven just like the rest of you stupid @$$h0135. Then when I get to heaven, I'll do whatever the fu<k I want there too. What are they going to do, fire me?

Honestly, here is you a poll to show that you are incorrect.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/159548/identify-ch...

So, if 77% of Americans identify themselves as Christian, and 5% identify themselves as atheist...do you really expect us to believe what you are shoveling? That somehow 5% is a majority and 77% is a minority, then your math is backwards.

And in the third world, well, the numbers are phenomenal. Check this out...

http://www.ncpa.org/sub/dpd/index.php...

So there you go. You are wrong and there is hard data to prove it.

You wont get the truth from some atheist website, and the leftist mainstream media in this country sure wont tell it. But there it is.

Christianity is not dying, it is expanding rather quickly world wide.

All of your vulgar comments and cursing only serve to make you look stupid. Being wrong dont help.

But, now you know.

Being honest is a credit to any man, even if you have been proven wrong. So is common decency.

So, why not cease with the 6th grade curses, and admit that your wrong.

You might feel better about yourself, and people might find a reason to have respect for you.:)

I'm sorry that you lack the intelligence and critical thinking skills to understand that the two links you posted have nothing to do with my assertions.

The current percentage of magical believers vs nonbelievers has nothing to do with the rate of decline in magical beliefs. If you had any education in statistics or calculus, you would understand this.

Likewise, the rate of increase in Christian beliefs in the third world has nothing to do with the overall decrease in magical beliefs. If you even had basic reasoning skills you would understand this.

I don't know if I can help you understand. I'm not used to communicating slightly complex ideas to simple minds. Maybe you should pray on it.

You can't have freedom of religion without freedom from religion numb nuts. I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem with them putting In Allah We Trust on the courthouse.

Well sorry you feel that way. It appears that most people reading this thread feel the same way you do. However, it does look like you are going to see "In God we trust" on the courthouse now. Looks like somebody is ok with it. I know that makes all of you mad an scream "WE ARE NOT A THEOCRACY". Just as you Athiest or whatever you call yourself has tolerated Christians we have had to tolerate your insults over this website. This is the only way you can get your point across because you are not brave enough to stand in public and proclaim that "you believe in NOTHING". That evolution happened and all these things started falling in place all the sudden. The creation of man, woman, bearing children, the functions of our brain and body parts was not thought up by something or someone. That's not even the beginning. Look around you! Your belief in creation is a "Harry Potter" story to but it just happened all of the sudden without influence from any creator. I guess this computer in my hand magically appeared one day, The car I drive, the clothes I wear. All of these things landed in my lap. NO! They all had a creator or inventor. Yet the most amazing invention ever created(man and woman) with a brain that can store thousands and thousands of information and for a woman their bodies can bear children. You think something that amazing just formed on its own? I don't believe it. THAT is the most foolish thing I have ever heard.
Yet you believe God just poofed into existence all on his own.

I know that GOD is real. My prayers have been answered many times over. You are given the freedom to choose how and what you believe. If you choose to live your life angry and empty go ahead. But, there are a great many of us who have had the Lord GOD make a great deal of difference in our lives in a huge way. A better way. I Love GOD! Proof of his Love is all around us. As for the bad things, like I said he gives you the freedom to choose. Man without guidence can make some horrible mistakes. Man gets greedy and others around him suffer the consequences. God does not make war, God does not make you murder or abuse children, or make you be unfaithful to your spouse. We make those choices.

God just sits back and watches murder and abuse. You remember all those stories about priests raping little kids? God could have stopped any one of those. He could snap his fingers and stop it but he never does.

Maybe he's too busy jerking off while he watches. Or maybe he doesn't exist. If he didn't exist, exactly the same action would be taken. NOTHING.

You are wasting your life worshiping a magical man who lives in the sky. You might as well get a spear and a loin cloth.

Isn't it great how the religious feel authorized to define the lives of people they don't even know?

Besides, the angriest people I've ever met have had a Bible in one hand.
