I am hearing that arrests in the UCDD and UCHRA fraud are coming soon. I hope Wendy is enjoying her Memorial Day weekend, it could be her last as a free woman.

if anyone reads the documents on Phil Williams website it clearly shows government money was being misappropriated. Programs were started to help people who need it, not to cushion the pockets of the people who are directing the services. It is sad there were a few cases of people who were supposed to be getting services through various programs and documents showed payments from the state were still going to the program even after patient services were discontinued. Wow how did they get away with that. So many people cant get services from these programs and need it, and these fools just played with the system and took what they wanted. No respect for any of them and wish them no good......the good life should be in a 3x5 cell, and let them think about what they did. Look at Bernie Madeoff, he is paying for his crimes, Martha Stewart paid for hers, they should pay for theirs.....

Wendy, Sherry, and all others involved or who knew what was going on but kept quiet rather than lose the "extra benefits" by saying anything should be arrested. They were well bribed and they knew why they were being bribed.

What investigators? Certainly won't be any from the DA's office in Putnam County because Wendy and a bunch of other suspects in this are related to him. How well connected is Wendy? This may go nowhere.

In 2014 tax paying voters will have the opportunity to stop the deeply rooted corruption in our community.
check out
www.cookevillegives.com - link to list of property owners in Putnam Co. who did not pay their fair share of real estate taxes.
If you live in the Cookeville Boatdock Water Utility District, you are paying three women to work four days a week to process 2,800 water bills. Is your water meter read each month? I have on video a young boy driven to "read water meters". He is about thirteen. Maybe your child could apply for this job.
Wendy Askins "first 'Live the Dream' house is on W. Cemetery close to the Cookeville Boatdock Water District.
Maybe I'll start a tour business and visit where our tax dollar has been hard at work - Not!
Corruption has become so ingrained in every aspect of our lives in this area, it is difficult to remember when elected officials were "public servants."

Totally agree with you Neighborhood! Lets start with the wasted taxpayer money for useless investigators. Average people are out there seeing these crimes and videotaping them. Easy to see it but no one does anything about it. Have you asked a real law enforcement officer to view the video? You should take it to someone who will view it. Maybe take it to the grand jury yourself and get someone charged. This is unacceptable!

Yeah!!! I know you must agree with me. Average citizens should not have to resort to a news reporter when they have evidence of crimes. Neighborhood--have you tried to turn over the video you have? Did you talk to anyone in local law enforcement? I know it is scary since Wendy is related (by marriage) to the DA's investigator but I feel that there must be someone you can turn to with this! The citizens deserve better!

More likely something will get done and exposed than giving it to local law enforcement, I think. If you're going to give it to someone, give it to TBI or someone higher than local police.

Your wrong. Sometimes there is no one to turn to. From my own experience those who do wrong and are connected socially, economically, and or legally will go to great lengths to protect their "friends". Only when they see their own downfall coming will they turn on their own. Don't think anyone is to that point yet.

Kind of like how Askins was approved by the board to make purchases and not monitored on her spending, but members were disgusted when all of it came to light?
