Aren't most doctors in business to make money?

Who would go to any doctor who told them to take an aspirin or sugar pill go home there is nothing wrong with them and charge $50 -$100 dollars or more?

Do dope heads run the economy, doctors, pill companies, drug stores, court system, police salary, insurance companies, even funeral homes?

If they stopped all the dope heads would this Country go broke, from loss of revenue?

Hypochondriac Nation use to people never went to the doctor unless it was an emergency fact is the doctors came to them, with home visits, but now does even the government encourage people to have their own doctors, and yearly or more check ups?

Are there bad and good doctors just like are there bad and good police?
Could they Limit pills to prepackage bar coded and requiring thump prints, photo Id's, and regular monthly reports to the local police departments, and state with state to state federal data base?
Could the government require Doctors, Tenn Care and all insurance Companies to be responsible for any who become dope heads because of over prescribed medicine any are connected with?

These kind of post disgust me. Yes, if he is guilty, he should go to jail. But no where on this post does anyone mention the people that NEED this medicine to have any quality of life. Lock up all doctors and then what? Where will loved ones go for help?

First off, chronic pain patients are hardly 'dope heads.' Only a total ignoramus or a self righteous twit would make such an ignorant statement. It sounds like this doctor is a victim of dea thugs who think they know more about medicine than a doctor who has spent ten years learning his profession. When you suffer from pain or have a loved one that does you'll be singing a different tune. Legitimate patients are being punished for the actions of a tiny minority.

It is amazing how people will spend more monet on 10 pills than it would cost to go to the dr and get a prescription.

If they could just go to the Doctor and get a prescription, they would, but since they are addicts they can't. The cost has no effect as long as they can get the money by any other means, like stealing, pawning all their stuff, your stuff and anybody else's stuff they can get a hold of. It is a dealers delight to provide.

Best thing anyone can do is if you suspect someone is dealing, report them and if you know someone who is hooked, help them. Our society is sick, both because of those hooked on drugs, those who take advantage of them and those who refuse to open their eyes and step up to help.
