Here we go again. First it was Al Gore screaming gloom and doom. What a nut! He is nothing but a con artist. Ask him how much money he has made on stupid gobal warming scam. Man is not the cause of this so called gobal warming. Green house gas? We humans and animals breath out CO2. Plants take in CO2. What a bunnch BS!

These facts are quite simple.
"One group of researchers looked at the strongest rain and snow events of each year from 1951 to 1999 in the Northern Hemisphere and found that the more recent storms were 7 percent wetter. That may not sound like much, but it adds up to be a substantial increase, said the report from a team of researchers from Canada and Scotland."

There is a useful 'rule of thumb' that warming air by about 1C causes it to have about 6% more water vapor ( absolute humidity) for the same relative humidity. That means that a change of X% in RH will precipitate about 6% more water falling from the sky now than before.

Some of the sillier or more brain dead posters here may think that this simple fact is a conspiracy or link it to politicians, showmen or the like, but it is really just simple and real physics CONFIRMING that AGW has warmed the planet by about 1C.

48 yrs? Who is brain dead? If you think 48 yrs. worth of "data" is a significant tie in, you are the idiot.

Well, 48 years of rain measurements...and a few centuries of physics.

Don't pretend to scientific qualifications and I won't, either. But I do know that 97% of publishing climatologists believe we're responsible for climate change, and that most have been forecasting both heavier precipitation and heavier summer droughts for a looong time.

What isn't simple for some, is to remember which name they're using in which forum, Mr Undoubtably Spelt Fourty.

Regardless of whether or not you believe global warming is real, there are consequences to burning shit oil that is meant to be solid in the ground and turning it into toxic gasses in the atmosphere. It's obvious to me that the planet is changing. I remember when I was a kid. The summers were hot, the fall was cool, the winter was cold, and the spring was warm. The winters are not deep like they used to be in spite of the occasional eruption of snow and ice which is characteristic of the extreme weather that accompanies global warming. I have yet to see a cloudless day here in Tennessee this summer. Hm.. I wounder what could be the cause? It's literally been raining for the last 3 months here. I've been a hunter for 16 years and I have never seen the tick and chigger population as bad as it is this year. There are literally ticks crawling around on pavement. People need to wake up.
