who paid the $13,000 fee to get the tournament to come to Dayton? If the city paid the fee then why does a city put a man in business then continue to provide him with business in the form of tournaments. This is the same as the city leasing me a building cheap to sell merchandise then stock my store several times a year free and justify it by saying it generates revenue.

Evidently you have not punched the numbers. These women spend right at 1500.00 dollars at each tournament sight during pre-fishing and tournament days for fuel, lodging, food, and tackle plus more if they need boat repairs.Lets say there are 20 boats for the tournament, this is the low average for 2012.
20 boats means 40 anglers plus husbands, etc. Your talking 60,000.00 dollars generated for that week in Dayton.Being a businessman I would gladly spend 13,000.00 on Wednesday to get back 60,000.00 dollars on Saturday. Enough said!

sounds like good business for eagle exxon and the sheriffs boy at city taxpayer expense. now show us that $1.5 million you promised. you are spewing out fiction like those anti gunners toss out trying to brain wash people, but the people are waking up from their sleep. now answer why the city has to sponser a private mans business in the name of revenue for us all but only sponser the sheriffs boy. answer that

Sounds to me like good news for the motels, eateries, shops in Dayton. Ask them how they feel about all the added revenue these things bring in hater. You sound like someone with hater issues and maybe ya might want to get some help for that. Or is it just Louallen you hate or are jealous of. Real obvious you have issues. At least someone is trying to bring some kind of revenue into this poor city. Thanks Louallen.
