Its like we live in Nazi Germany. Because people don't like it and/or have a few bad apples "big brother," our government has to tell us what we can and cannot put in our body! Also, they use it as an excuse to go through our homes and cars! We can't make adult deisions for ourselves anymore... let's just give up all our freedoms people!! Just for you people's info Alcohol is a worse drug than these other ones and its legal because these politicians like it. And yes I've done pretty much every drug other than LSD, so I have first hand experience.

Take it from someone who has been there, addiction is hell on earth. Marijuana maybe isn't as bad as narcotics, but I know from firsthand experience what it's like to be addicted to narcotics. They may make you feel great in the beginning, but in the end will make your life a living hell.

In general, I support the legalization of drugs, but I have to admit to having some trepidation about heroin, coke and meth. Just because you were able to be a recreational user, doesn't mean that everyone can. There are some people who do meth one time and are physically addicted. I still believe that if drugs were legalized meth would disappear because cocaine would be so much cheaper than it is now. I can't imagine too many people doing meth, if they could do coke for the same money, but I could be wrong. So far as I know, there has never been a study that proved that marijuana is physically addictive. Psychologically addictive perhaps, but not physically. I also believe that it is far better to know who is using drugs and get any issues out in the open. Not to mention, the legalization of drugs would stop the flow of billions of dollars to drug cartels, would provide tax revenue, would open up new opportunities for American farmers (hemp cloth anyone?, fuel?) free up law enforcement assets to focus on violent crime and maybe even stem the culture of corruption that permeates our police forces today.

No disrespect to Migod. I've been there too and you're right, it is hell. Glad you made it!
