People are always bashing each others race saying one race is worse than another. When we all have flaws and all human races commit crimes. But it seems when a person of color commits a crime people wanna make them seem like such a horrible person. And blame it on the whole race- rather than just a man or women that did a illegal act.I have friends of all backgrounds and life styles. And I don't look at any of them any different.I have a few friends who are in gangs.- I don't see them often and of course a few are behind bars pulling "their" time for the crime or crimes they did.But no matter if your in a gang or not your just like anyone eles-people wanna think that people in gangs are all drug dealers, killers, low lifes, rapist and so on,but they aren't.A gang to me is kinda like a religion-a group of people who believe in the same things and take care of one another as brother and sisters.I am not in a gang nor would I ever join one.So don't write me wanting to know what or who I rep!..I AM ME-I DO ME!

You are confused and misguided. You are from a culture and community of good standing in Nashville. Kurds in Nashville (of a certain "generation") are widely regarded as honest and hard working citizens.

And here YOU come. With NO reason to be a thug. You lustfully covet the Black gangs and attempt to emulate that lifestyle (which is a SERIOUS error in judgement) error. Follow the good example of your parents - "real" gang members don't have the richness of a heritage and successful parents that you do. You will never be "REAL" in those terms. But don't sweat that - who would WANT to be?

I'll tell you straight up. Kurds and Mexicans and White people and <fill in the blank> that falsely emulate the "Thug Life" culture in dress, speech, and attitude are weak, sorry, and misguided. You want to "represent"- but you don't have anything to say. Very sad. You are an embarrasment to your community.

Nashville, the city of gangs. Who still wants to move there to live? They have crips, bloods, G's , the disciples, ms13, blue mafia , skinheads, gansta disciples and , many more. I'm glad I no longer live there.
You do realized you named the same gang three times; g's, disciples, and gangter disciples are all the same gang. We in Nashville are happy you no longer live here too. You make us look dumb.

The level of education exhibited throughout the comments here is absolutely abysmal.

Nashville certainly doesn’t have the lowest crime rate in the U.S.– nevertheless, it’s far from being the worst.

No matter where you go, there will always be dangerous areas within any city and metropolitan areas. Whether or not someone choses to subject themselves to high-crime areas is their decision. More often than not, criminals tend to stay in the types of areas that they feel most comfortable within.

Those who aspire and work hard for greatness can usually achieve it – those who don’t will only succumb to whatever fate is dealt.
