Does anyone know or have experience with this attorney?

Joseph P. Rusnak of Nashville, was publicly censured on January 25, 1999 for shoplifting a tie valued at less than $50.00. Mitigating circumstances involved the following: Rusnak reported himself to the Board; a clinical psychologist diagnosed that Rusnak suffered from depression and anxiety and that his conduct resulted from emotional problems; and that all arose out of domestic difficulties Rusnak experienced at the time of the conduct.

Yes, I have had experience with Mr. Rusnak. He is a hard working brilliant attorney. Very pleasant to work with. Not only that, he brings a "big picture" review when working with clients. I will always be grateful for the legal insight he brought to a complex issue.
Very happy with the result! In response to the "FYI" above, that was 14 years ago. I believe the fact that he reported it himself to the board, as well as apologized publicly (and privately to his clients) for a brief misstep during a very troubling part of his life speaks volumes to Mr. Rusnak's character.

I am saddened but not totally shocked to read this about Joe. He and I were friends in law school. I do hope he has turned his life around. A very nice guy.
