Judged: 3 1 1 LOL! If you don't already know, it changes according to whichever judge-it gets the most. So, even if it doesn't show up immediately, when enough Posters vote the same way, it will change then, if that is the highest amount. For instance, if I voted "X" , the "x" would show up...but if you voted a "check mark", I don't think it would change because it's an equal number of each one. But, if one more Person clicked on the "check mark" LATER...that "x" would change to a "check mark", and it will go back and forth sometimes, based on that same example, as more Posters click on their choice. The Judge-its show up based strictly on the majority votes, if all 3 slots are filled, and they change accordingly...by the simple majority of one vote. Therefore, go ahead and vote even if all three slots are filld because theat will help change what shows up in one or more of the slots. If you already know this, Hey, just consider that I put it up for anybody that didn't know how it works.:) |

Judged: 4 3 3 I think you did slip on some steaming pile or another and landed in it face first. If you dispute the fact that the Dems created more jobs, you have the internet at your fingertips. Just press a few keys and check... The Tea Party...to refudiate or not to refudiate, that is the question ! Chuckles ! |

Judged: 4 3 3 But the N.C. " Republican Chamber of Commerence an arm of the Republican Party" and other forces on the Right are determined not to let those facts get in the way or to let the crisis they helped create pass by without taking it out on unemployed workers by cutting benefits even as the state's unemployment rate hovers above 9 percent. The business lobbyists point to the fact that North Carolina has more generous benefits for unemployed workers than some of its neighboring states, though using the word generous in any way to describe the program is misleading. The truth is North Carolina's benefits for laid off workers are roughly at the national average. If the taxes paid by employers had been at that same average level, the state wouldn't be in this mess. And as Alexandra Sirota of the Budget & Tax Center points out in the Associated Press story, the amount of benefits should not be arbitrarily changed without considering what families in North Carolina need to make ends meet while people look for work. That's exactly what the secret subcommittee should have considered and why it should have included more voices before coming up with the proposal. Members of the Revenue Laws Study Committee should refuse to vote on the plan until there is more discussion-in public-of what the benefit cuts would mean to thousands of unemployed workers and their families. It wouldn't hurt for Governor-elect Pat McCrory to weigh in on the need for a public debate either. McCrory has said that addressing the unemployment debt was one of the first issues he would have to deal with as governor. He has also repeatedly pledged that his administration would be open and transparent. Here's a chance for him to live up to that campaign rhetoric by demanding that lawmakers come out of the backrooms and let everybody participate in coming up with a solution to a problem that affects both workers and businesses in the state. Judged: 1 1 1 It's widely known that Republicans have no use for facts, figures or science. They believe the earth is only 9000 years old, there is no climate change , a woman's body can reject rape, childbirth is not any kind of risk to health.....and it goes on and on. They live in their own universe where physical laws do not apply. Intellect and Republican should never be included in the same sentence. |
