The Tea Party...to refudiate or not to refudiate, that is the question ! Chuckles !
You must have just fallen off the turnip truck.

Though some may not acknowledge it,(namely intellectually dishonest Democraps), it's thoroughly documented that Democraps like to sling "facks and figgers" around like stale fries at McDonalds.

Republican Deal To Screw Workers all Across the USA Including Tennessee.

But the N.C. " Republican Chamber of Commerence an arm of the Republican Party" and other forces on the Right are determined not to let
those facts get in the way or to let the crisis they helped create pass by
without taking it out on unemployed workers by cutting benefits even as the
state's unemployment rate hovers above 9 percent.
The business lobbyists point to the fact that North Carolina has more
generous benefits for unemployed workers than some of its neighboring
states, though using the word generous in any way to describe the program is
misleading.
The truth is North Carolina's benefits for laid off workers are roughly at
the national average. If the taxes paid by employers had been at that same
average level, the state wouldn't be in this mess.
And as Alexandra Sirota of the Budget & Tax Center points out in the
Associated Press story, the amount of benefits should not be arbitrarily
changed without considering what families in North Carolina need to make
ends meet while people look for work.
That's exactly what the secret subcommittee should have considered and why
it should have included more voices before coming up with the proposal.
Members of the Revenue Laws Study Committee should refuse to vote on the
plan until there is more discussion-in public-of what the benefit cuts would
mean to thousands of unemployed workers and their families.
It wouldn't hurt for Governor-elect Pat McCrory to weigh in on the need for
a public debate either. McCrory has said that addressing the unemployment
debt was one of the first issues he would have to deal with as governor.
He has also repeatedly pledged that his administration would be open and
transparent. Here's a chance for him to live up to that campaign rhetoric by
demanding that lawmakers come out of the backrooms and let everybody
participate in coming up with a solution to a problem that affects both
workers and businesses in the state.

Yesterday, Congressman Jessie Jackson Jr. confessed his bi-polar disorder and dutifully resigned. Now, if the other congressional democrats could just...cowboy up!

Besides, I'm sure the federal investigation into his involvement over missing millions of dollars has absolutely nothing to do with his stress!:)

We've all been wondering what the hell's wrong with 'em! One down and more to go. So many morons, so little time! I think I got it, the new democrat definition of "bi-polar disorder" is an F.B.I. investigation involving the theft of millions of dollars! HA!

Well, the Bush tax cuts are about to expire. So are you ready to pay more folks? No, not just you 1%'ers. We're talking about you 99%'ers. Yer gonna be getting less in yo' paychecks.

In TN, a family of four making $68K per year, will be paying $3400 more in taxes to help pay for those who don't pay taxes.

"The general pattern is median families in high-income and low-income states are more affected than those in middle-income states. Higher-income families would be disproportionately affected by the imminent AMT changes—particularly those that owe higher than average state income tax, which is deductible under the ordinary tax system but not the Alternative Minimum Tax."

Yeah, sock it to them rich folk. Oh, but wait, what's that you say?

"At the opposite end, low-income states (such as TN) are disproportionately affected because three tax increases from the end of the Bush-era tax cuts—the reduction in the child tax credit, the elimination of the 10% bracket, and the reduced standard deduction for married filers—represent fixed increases that do not depend on income. Therefore, these increases, as a percentage of income, are largest for lower-income families."

Obama - about to screw us all, especially you po folks......

In my case, I was on the telephone in another room, listening to a Friend, who has a very serious problem and I forgot about the Tea Kettle on the Stove and it did exactly that, ran dry and ruined it. I heard it whistling , but I thought it had plenty of water in it. I din't realize that it would run dry so fast. Then, when the water was gone, it stopped whistling, of course, and I forgot about it!
Hey, cut me some slack, it's the first time that I've ever let anything ruin, in the Kettle/Pot line that I had on the stove...I think that's pretty good, considering how much cooking I've done in my Life.:)
My Son bought me that Tea Kettle when he was just a little Guy, and it didn't have a scatch on it! So, I hated burning it up for more reasons than One!
My problem seems to be ADD.I put the pot on with the eggs and head out for the mail I pass the truck which I see has a low tire so I get out the compresser and fill the tire and check the other 3 and go get the mail. The flag is loose so I fix it I check the mail and see a few dandylions and I start pulling them and now I see gravel in the lawn and I get the rake to get it back in the driveway.
It is then that I hear the smoke alarm and realize Im in trouble. There are eggs every where on the range hood stuck to the wall on the cookbooks everywhere.I cuss myself and Farber and promise I'll get some meds and well I never do. So welcome to my world.

Sir, with all due respect, you don't know what you're talking about. I think I know if I owned a small business or not and so does did the IRS.

I've posted all about it before...you really should try to keep up, I know it's difficult for People like you, but I have faith that yoy can do it...maybe.
BTW, I filed those Quarterly Tax Reports to the IRS and paid that Unemployment Ins. Fund, at that time $1600.00 annually, for each Employee!

I tried to explain Thanksgiving to a Frenchman:

One of our most important holidays is Thanksgiving Day, known in France as le Jour de Merci Donnant .
Le Jour de Merci Donnant was first started by a group of Pilgrims ( Pelerins ) who fled from l'Angleterre before the McCarran Act to found a colony in the New World ( le Nouveau Monde ) where they could shoot Indians ( les Peaux-Rouges ) and eat turkey ( dinde ) to their hearts' content.

They landed at a place called Plymouth (now a famous voiture Americaine ) in a wooden sailing ship called the Mayflower (or Fleur de Mai ) in 1620. But while the Pelerins were killing the dindes, the Peaux-Rouges were killing the Pelerins, and there were several hard winters ahead for both of them. The only way the Peaux-Rouges helped the Pelerins was when they taught them to grow corn ( mais ). The reason they did this was because they liked corn with their Pelerins.

In 1623, after another harsh year, the Pelerins' crops were so good that they decided to have a celebration and give thanks because more mais was raised by the Pelerins than Pelerins were killed by Peaux-Rouges.

Every year on the Jour de Merci Donnant, parents tell their children an amusing story about the first celebration.

It concerns a brave capitaine named Miles Standish (known in France as Kilometres Deboutish) and a young, shy lieutenant named Jean Alden. Both of them were in love with a flower of Plymouth called Priscilla Mullens (no translation). The vieux capitaine said to the jeune lieutenant :
"Go to the damsel Priscilla ( allez tres vite chez Priscilla), the loveliest maiden of Plymouth ( la plus jolie demoiselle de Plymouth). Say that a blunt old captain, a man not of words but of action ( un vieux Fanfan la Tulipe ), offers his hand and his heart, the hand and heart of a soldier. Not in these words, you know, but this, in short, is my meaning.

"I am a maker of war ( je suis un fabricant de la guerre ) and not a maker of phrases. You, bred as a scholar ( vous, qui tes pain comme un tudiant ), can say it in elegant language, such as you read in your books of the pleadings and wooings of lovers, such as you think best adapted to win the heart of the maiden."

Although Jean was fit to be tied ( convenable tre emballe ), friendship prevailed over love and he went to his duty. But instead of using elegant language, he blurted out his mission. Priscilla was muted with amazement and sorrow ( rendue muette par l'tonnement et las tristesse ).

At length she exclaimed, interrupting the ominous silence: "If the great captain of Plymouth is so very eager to wed me, why does he not come himself and take the trouble to woo me?" ( Ou est-il, le vieux Kilometres? Pourquoi ne vient-il pas aupres de moi pour tenter sa chance ?)

Jean said that Kilometres Deboutish was very busy and didn't have time for those things. He staggered on, telling what a wonderful husband Kilometres would make. Finally Priscilla arched her eyebrows and said in a tremulous voice, "Why don't you speak for yourself, Jean?" ( Chacun a son gout.)

And so, on the fourth Thursday in November, American families sit down at a large table brimming with tasty dishes and, for the only time during the year, eat better than the French do.

No one can deny that le Jour de Merci Donnant is a grande fte and no matter how well fed American families are, they never forget to give thanks to Kilometres Deboutish, who made this great day possible.
