Ironic that the anti-gays like to thump States Rights when it comes to Federal Govt, but will then pass laws like this.

They bemoan "political correctness" yet want to dictate "politically correct" speech?

Guess it's just more proof that God has a sense of humor.

I predict this lawsuit will prove toothless. But since this is TN it could still be successful.

GOOD FOR THEM. You don't sit around moaning that this or that is unacceptable. You don't moan about your chances. You *believe in* your point of view and believe it has correct and righteous merit before god and man and you file a damn lawsuit instantaneously. I am proud of these people for filing this lawsuit. This is how it's done.

I've never been much impressed by your predictions.

There is always the possibility this will end up in Federal Court on appeal and may even reach SCOTUS in about a decade if not sooner.

This United States Of America is in a horrendous war over across the water, it's suffering with 9.1% unemployment, our government is in debt beyond trillions of dollars, etc. and you want our leaders to waste more time and money on this sickening, despicable subject. Anyone who answers yes should be sent to Iraq,... without a gun!

You just said, basically, the following (and hold on to your seat, because you're pretty goddamn ridiculous):

THESE issues affect me! I don't care if THOSE issues affect you! We should focus on the issues that affect ME only, and ignore any issues that affect you!

Uh, no.

Not by a long shot.

Your selfish and horrifying ridiculous post should be taken for what it is (which is what I just did). You have your concerns; others have their concerns. That is that. You won't change their concerns by implying that they should be killed for having those concerns, you despicable dumbass.

The prominent point I received from your post is that you wish to see all LGBT people in the U.S. killed. I have a better idea, how about people like you seek out therapy to fix your disgusting twisted brains. Your statement also shows that you are really a dumb ass with a low IQ. Social issues where a minority such as LGBT people are discriminated against have a negative effect on the entire nation as a whole. Discrimination and oppression have a much greater cost to a nation not only in human cost but in dollars as well as opposed to liberty and justice for all. Or maybe people like you should go to Iraq, they believe as you, human life means little.

I reread the comment three times after you said this. The poster did not make this clear, AT ALL, in my opinion. However, I will meekly apologize in the spirit of goodwill.

It's a dental hygiene conundrum, not a prediction.

I have problem knowing which party you mean? The Tenn. Legitslature? Or the people challenging this unconstitutional law? The Tenn. Legistslature poured a lot of time and money into enacting this law.(In NJ, It cost $2000 just to write a law up by the NJ legistslative Services) But that's nothing. I find it reprehensible that the Tenn. legistlature would write a law like this that virtually throws open the door to the haters of TGLB people to harrass, abuse and even kill a class of people. Can they realy be so backward? Or was it a slow period in Tenn. lawmaking? Has no one actually read the Constitution? Or did they skip over the part about "Equal protection for all"!

Don't blame gays and lesbians. We aren't the politicians passing these stupid un-american laws.

BTW have your written to Boehner (House majority leader) and expressed your outrage that he is using taxpayer money (which he never got passed by the Congress) to defend DOMA with private attorneys? Or the members of Congress using tax dollars to sue Obama over Libya?

I wonder when TN banned teaching the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution in schools.

But I agree with you. It isn't clear who Mississippi Man was referring to.

First - To those posters who cannot comment without cussing
and /or name-calling,....you have been ignored.

Two - To whom was I referring? Let's make it all encompassing?

I don't give a shit about what you're ignoring.

You do not instruct me or any other poster how to behave, period.

My posts aren't for you, controlling crybaby.

They're for anyone else who can see how stupid and spineless you're acting.

I don't need responses directly from you to make an example of you on the board. Go cry about it.
