Dear Supporters and Friends:

The momentum of our campaign grows weekly. This week we have almost run out of yard signs (a good problem) and we have seen our billboard go up on Highway 40. We have sent a clear and convincing message to our opponents that we are in this fight to WIN! One of my opponents, the incumbent Rep. Cecily Hill, has definitely received that message loudly. As a response to our campaign’s surge and popularity, Mrs. Hill has called in the big establishment players of the GOP to help her win this campaign. The response she has mounted is a testament to our challenge for her seat...AND WE ARE A THREAT!
She is bringing in the big guns to Camden County to help her gain momentum on June 5th for a campaign rally. This list of big GOP establishment guns is like a list of “Who’s Who” of the Georgia General Assembly. Representative Hill has recruited some very powerful friends to save her campaign. Here is the list of establishment players:

• Rep. David Ralston (Blue Ridge), Speaker of the House. Served 6 years in the Senate. Served 8 years in the House.(Total years, 14)

• Rep. Jan Jones (Alpharetta), Speaker Pro Tem, who some consider the "most powerful woman in the legislature.” Served 7 years
• Rep. Ron Stephens (Savannah), Chair of the Economic Development & Tourism. Served 13 years

• Rep. Jerry Keen (St. Simons), House Majority Leader. Served 10 years.

•*Rep. Penny Houston (Nashville, GA), Vice-Pres of the Appropriations Committee/ Human Resources. Served 13 years.*Rep. Houston is my old home town representative, District 170. I went to school with her children and graduated with her son. It’s nice to see her notice a hometown boy making a credible challenge.

If there ever was a time to challenge the GOP establishment, it is NOW! Our campaign will not rely on “heavy weights” with “years of service” to bring the will of the people to Atlanta. Our campaign will rely on the campaign’s grass root effort, the people of District 180, the distaste for the status quo, and our fidelity to the Constitution of the United States and of the State of Georgia.
Friends, the establishment will arrive on June 5th in St Marys to stand with Mrs. Hill in her defense. However, I will ask you to stand firm for freedom and to stand strong for liberty!

Another thing to consider: Camden County and most of South Georgia has been the "red headed step child" in Atlanta for many years. Why would some of the most powerful people in Georgia General Assembly come all the way down to Camden County? Why do they want to come see this part of Georgia now? What do they want? Is Mrs. Hill serving the establishment or is she serving the people of Camden/Glynn County? It’s just something to consider.

Friends, stand with me now stronger than ever by sending a contribution to the campaign at www.spencer4georgia.com , and let's put a new dog in the fight up in Atlanta under the Gold Dome. My opponent’s June 5th rally is an example of politics as usual. Make that contribution today so we can keep up the “sign war”, purchase radio time and newspaper advertisements. We can’t stop now!

Our campaign will be out at the Fun in the Sun Expo this Saturday from 9AM to 5PM. This will be an excellent time to meet with me and show your support.

In Liberty,
Jason C. Spencer,
Candidate for Georgia State House of Representatives
District 180
P.O. Box 1056
Kingsland, GA. 31548
