Amazing, our Chief Deputy got caught hunting out of season, even partaking in the killing of a deer, even had 3 citizens of our country with him. What is still amazing is it did not warrant a place on the front page of the Nashville News. No they had it back on page 6. We shall see if our other paper tries to hide it in the back of the paper or have the courage to put it on the front page were it ought to be.

I congratulate the game warden for not letting this man get a free pass. He has already had a few of them but yet he seems not to have learned his lesson. Seems that he thinks that he is special, that he only enforces the laws, that he does not have to obey them.

I surely hope he doesn't get a free pass from the Sheriff, we don't need such people wearing a badge, carrying a gun, and protecting us. The citizens of Howard County deserve better than that.

We deserve honest law abiding citizens wearing the badges, carrying guns, and protecting us.

This 6th page cover-up story just goes to show Nashville has a good old boy town click and the chief deputy is part of the click in Nashville. Having a great passion for deer hunting in the past, I can sympathize with on not wanting to miss out on the chance at a big buck. However what I do have the most problem with is, those officers who drive often under the influence of alcohol, get away with it and then arrest others for doing the same. Not fingering this deputy for this but all. Neither police or the public in the good ole boy and girl click should be allowed to drive under the inflence and have a blind eye turned to it. Nashville is not the only town this happen in, almost all Arkansas towns are that way, some worse than others.

Nashville, Ar is unlike any place in the world. It could be the setting of any top TV drama. I would say lifetime would be best. I know that several people have gotten away with murder in this town. This poor guy who actually shot his girlfriend will probally get convicted and the sad part is he feels guilty. I think I need to call HOLLYWOOD adn tell them I know of a reallife SOUTHERN SOPRANOS that they need to start filming....

No doubt, the Good old boy got a slap on the back of his hand, a very light slap, and the good old boys are doing business as usual.

Oh, it could have been a DWI on top of hunting out of season, so all is cool and business is as usual.
