what ever happened to trick or treating in your own neighborhood? I am sick of handing out candy to kids who are driven around in minivans who are obviously not from my neighborhood.

I love the big brother hours. WTF happened to just going out on your own without a time being dictated when you can go?

@Lowell dude, I agree with you on that, however, some of these kids live in unsafe neighborhoods. So it is better for parents to find a safe place to go 'trick or treating'.

They should quadruple the speeding fines on Halloween. You just know idot Massachusetts drivers will be going 45 mph in a 25 zone four feet from kids.

How exactly would they find out who is an "out of towner"?? Most people that I witness parking on sidewalks are actually doing it in front of their own homes.

Lots of kids like to trick-or-treat with their friends or family members in different neighborhoods...there are some neighborhoods that aren't fun to trick-or-treat in (especially for little ones when the houses are too far apart or the streets are dangerous). If you don't want to give candy, just shut off your light and don't do it, like someone else suggested.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Capricorn

Mercury retrograde in your sign will cause some friction between you and other people during coming weeks. Matters that have been bubbling away in the background will come to the boil, forcing you to do something about them. Try not to overreact, nor to create a crisis out of something that's really very minor. You should also keep a strong sense of fair play and pay attention to every little detail.
