Pottstown man gets jail for theft of $127,000
A Pottstown man who stole more than $127,000 from his former employer, the Honey Brook Fire Company's ambulance division, will spend 111/2 to 23 months in jail, followed by five years' probation.

How awful.....but who was watching the pot. So many organizations allow so much freedom when it comes to their money. They trust too much. Many rescue organizations, fire companies, church organizations, etc. have no auditing procedures and then they wonder how this could happen.
And in today's economy, it will probably happen more and more. People - watch your funds and who's handling them and always do a year end audit by an outside company.
