we just visited her place of business and was considering purchasing a puppy. it was very sad to see the many dogs. I went home and researched the website and am very glad i did. After reading the comments posted i will not be returning to her for any business.
What a shame for those animals.... They need to be shut down. my heart goes out to all of you who have lost animals because of her. |

Please tell me this woman has been shut down...these stories are horrific. I'm sorry for all of you and your kids who have suffered with any of this, and I appreciate that I've learned so much about getting a pet dog. God Bless.
She will get hers...KARMA |

I just spoke to Joyce today! I was looking in the paper for a german Sheppard pup and YES! you 're right she is at it again. I don't know what made me google her but boy am I glad I did.
She was so nasty on the phone that I said to her Excuse me, I'm just trying to ask a question, I didn't mean to bother you . Are you just having a bad day or are you always this miserable? She told me the puppies are $600 with papers and $350. without. I knew then something was not right. She advertises in the Delaware County Daily Times and does so daily. I will call the Times and ask them if they know who they are advertising. I wish I could do more. I hope this witch gets the karma she deserves. |

Boy are you aa creep! You probably abuse your animals too! If you have a wife and kids probably them too! |

I really hope this lady stays shut down. I don't understand whats happening to Lancaster County. My husband and I use to raise A litter of Labs once in a while. My husbands father had a great breed with a show line and raised a couple litters before we got are two dogs. I remember crawling into the box with my dogs helping them with birth and if I didn't think they had enough milk, i would bottle feed them in her box next to her. I loved my dogs and their pups. We stopped having puppies because of Lancaster Countys reputation. We still have people call from time to time wanting another puppy because theirs has passed. I wish people who breed these dogs would look at them and love and care for them and not see a dollar sign in their dogs eyes. I feel so bad for those dogs. THEY DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER. HAPPY HOMES WITH LOVING OWNERS

I am glad to see that the whig and the Bargaineer are not running her ad's any longer (don't know for sure, but haven't seen them). I understand that the Amish community has a different idea about animals than we do. But, you are selling them to us. They are kept unhealthy and there is no love and caring. Only money. Hopefully everyone tells their friends and a stop is put to the puppy for money business (when you don't take care of them)! I've talked to Joyce in the past. A real waste of anyone's time!

You may want to try contacting Garen Megeurian. He is an attorney who is currently working a puppy lemon law case from a couple who bought a puppy from CC Pets that had similar problems. This is his website:
http://www.garenmlaw.com/ Here is a story about the case he handles: http://www.pet-abuse.com/cases/1572/PA/US/

I'm sure we're all well aware of people losing their jobs!! You shouldn't be on this site if you are not interested in the topic. We just went to purchase a puppy from this lady yesterday and were horrified by the way she treated those animals. Why don't you yell at her for getting rich off of innocent amimals and people. Since you have so much time on your hands to be on a site you don't care about. Why don't you go visit her puppy mill since you have so much time on your hands and see for yourself that she has over 100,000.00 worth of dogs on her property at any given time and how rude and uncareing she is!! |

THE WORLD IS A DISGRACE AS IT IS BUT TO MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY ABUSE POOR HELPLESS ANIMALS
THESE PEOPLE IN LANCASTER ARE FILTHY ROTTEN GARBAGE; |

You are sick. Yes, it is a shame that people are losing their jobs, but torturing innocent animals (and neglect IS a form of torture) is WRONG. Eye for an eye in my book. Put these so called dog "breeders" into their OWN cages and make them live like they've been doing to their animals.

We bought a puppy from CC Pets last week. The entire facility was very clean, the kennels were very clean, and all the puppies looked to be in excellent health.
We are very happy with our new puppy and would buy from there again. |

well i just can't believe i didn't do my research about this place. i bought a Shih A Poo from this place in May. They were clean and really friendly with me and the other people that were there and there were about 12 other people there to get a puppy. The only problem i had was when i called i asked for a specfic puppy she said they had it and when i got there they didn't have what i asked for over the phone. I must have been lucky with GOD on my side because i have not had any problem with my puppy. I didn't relize that so many people have had problems. Believe it or not i was thinking of going and getting another puppy but after reading all that i have I WON'T be.

We bought a puggle from Joyce Stoltzfus it was on Saturday July 12th 2008. We noticed right away he was coughing a lot and having trouble breathing. First thing Monday morning he was off to the vet. He has kennel cough that developed into pneumonia. He was so sick that the white off one of his eyes was almost completely covering his eye from all the pressure in his head. So when I discovered I had a sick puppy that was given a clean bill of health before I bought it I wanted my money for the vet expenses back (only eighty dollars but I'm a 22 year old college student!) when I called her she said to send in the bill and she would take a look at it. A couple days later I got a check for only 35 dollars which only covered the medications. I'm not done with her yet.

I don't understand why people want to buy pets when there are so many great ones available at animal shelters. There are even rescues that specialize in specific breeds. Go to petfinder.com and also you can do other Internet searches to find the pet that you want.

To all who are buying puppies from CC Pets - I'm sorry to hear your troubles. My family went to "Puppy Love" AKA "CC Pets" on Monday and when we pulled up to the pens I knew it was a puppy mill. We met a younger girl who said she's worked there for years and asked to see a COLLIE. She said she had some and took us into the pen area. We saw SHELTIE pups, not COLLIE pups, although she looked at us like we were nuts and said they were Collies and then proceeded to squash one of the pups legs in the doggie door as she shoved them out of the pen to come to her. She was calling the dogs to come and they wouldn't and they seemed very frightened of her, although I have to say I was frightened for them too. The pup we saw had fleas and was definitely not used to walking on grass or much else for that matter. She just sort of layed around. Needless to say, after about 20 minutes in the pen with the pup she finally seemed to start to move around and then the girl said "So do you want her or what?" My husband said we'd think about and she said "Fine, then hand her to me so I can put her back." We didn't see the girl again before we left and found out a little more about the place while we were there. Another couple asked if the Boxer they were looking at had papers and she said the dogs are pets and don't have papers they are just pets. Okay, call me crazy, but most purebreds have papers AND are pets too... Well, needless to say we won't be back there and I thought it weird that when we asked around off of W Ridge Road in Nottingham no one seemed to know of the place, but there was one guy who told us that wherever we went for a puppy "BEWARE THE PINK MAILBOX!" I know that there is a Puppy Lemon Law in PA because an Amish Farm with puppies gave us a paper telling us all about it and although they too were definitely a puppy mill, the puppies there were healthy and well taken care of. Good luck to all! For those interested in a puppy I would suggest a Rescue - that's the route we're taking unless I can find an actual Real Collie Breeder...

Did you report this to the proper authorities?

I just purchased a Maltipoo from this place and he is a wonderful dog. He had some parasites and earmites but besides that I guess we are lucky. My vet told me about this being a puppy mill. I'm so upset but I'm already love my puppy and he's a great puppy. I just feel really bad for the parents. I'm sure they are treated horrible. I hope she gets shut down for good. It's so sad to think how these dogs are treated. I feel like at least I saved one of them. I hate to think I contributed money to this type of things
